  worst of the worst

  I should have read the reviews before making a booking. Firstly the owner Tanya Emailed me prior to us leaving to arrange pick up from the airport , emailed our details back ie flight number and time of arrival. However no one was there to pick us up. When we arrived at the property we had a guy not able to speak any English show us our apartment. All I can say is DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PLACE. We ended up staying one night and found new accommodation. The place was a health hazard!!!! I tried to get some of my money back but it was refused due to me breaking the policy.

  Good option for budget travellers

  If you are prepared to stay a block behind the beach, don't like to stay indoors and/ on a budget this can be perhaps the best option while visiting Raro. Pros: - Great location. Easy access to the best snorkeling lagoon of the island. 20 minutes walk to the famous Muri beach area. - Drinking water station across the road. Saves you money and efforts to get drinking water. Cons: - Property is a bit run down and needs maintenance all around. - Very minimal interactions from the hosts. Almost nonexistent help. That can be an issue to start with if you are a first time.

  A Raina Family Trip

  Garden room recommended for a family, with 6 beds available. We enjoyed the room and the fans did work overtime. The rooms were clean and tidy although a little dated and tired but beds were clean and comfortable. Ants were a problem esp. In the private room. Thank you Tania, Aunty June and of course Elvis.

  Clean & comfortable

  I stayed in the ground floor apartment at Raina Beach Apartments in April 2019 for 4 nights. Tanya was an organised host and arranged airport transfers for me ahead of time. The apartment was massive and very comfortable. The location was good, right by Charlies which did great food (see other review!) and near other resorts which had nice restaurants too. The beach by Rainas was also very beautiful with clear water for swimming. The nearest supermarket (24/7) was a 50 min walk away, but easily accessible by bus, car, scooter or bike. It was well stocked so I used the kitchen in the apartment 2 nights. The kitchen was quite well equipped, although there was no tin opener and the hob did not light, so I had to go and buy matches down the road. The bathroom was clean and both shower and beach towels were provided which was great. The shower was not very powerful, but nice and warm after a couple of minutes. The apartment was well lit and airy, I enjoyed staying there a lot thank you Tanya!

  Well worth it

  Across the road from the beach, well worth what you pay for it, has everything you need and what is advertised. The staff are friendly and really helpful. You get a bit of road noise but you get used to it. Central point of view and has some of the best snorkeling across the road from the apartments so no need to drive to snorkeling spots and no currents so really good for kid with beach to sit on. Charlies restaurant walking distance which serve some really good food at reasonable prices, night markets not to far so convenient for dinners. When w ego back we will definitely stay there if there is room as it always has people so its really popular.
