  The Best in Shaoguan

  A good hotel in a nice location beside the river. The service is nice but most the employees doesn't speak English ... but anyway we can find out how to communicate. The breakfast is OK for the people who likes a good Chinese traditional one. The rooms are nice and very clean. There are some other good services available, stores, tourist guide desk, nice swiming pool, fitness ... definitely the best in this region.

  Beside the River

  Stayed two nights in this hotel with a charming view of the river. The bed is comfortable and had a good rest after a full days work. Breakfast starts late (7am) but selection is good - though ambience is still sleepy (maybe more lights?). My only wish is they install bidets.

  much more than expected

  This is the first time I travel to Shaoguan. Before I travel there, I expect Shaoguan to be one of those small Chinese towns with only moderate degree of luxury compared to Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai. To my surprise, it is a pleasant town with pleasant walks along the rivers, peaceful parks, and a large variety of restaurants. Ramada Hotel is at the heart of all those, and no doubt one of the most enjoyable hotels in China. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The view of the river and the bridge across to the railway station is hypnotic. The service is warm, the breakfast and lunch thoughtful. Next to it is the best mall in the town with a large department store, supermarket and restaurants of various tastes. Across the street is a bus stop with multiple lines which can take you almost anywhere you long. I can easily spend a week in that hotel and not feeling a day too long.

  Nice stay

  Nice stay for some days to visit family members at this wonderful city, view and eat around. The hotel service was wonderful, and would be better if the WiFi could be linked to Facebook, YouTube and gmail. The facility could be more effective maintained e.g. the shower head was leaking when being used, and water was leaked to outside the shower box.

  best hotel in town

  Typical Ramada style hotel, suited in the city center of Shaoguan, you can get everthing there, Room is huge, and the bed is very comfortable, service is excellent in Chinese standard. If you arrived from high speed, take the taxi and make sure they dont charge you not more than 50 RMB.
