You'll possibly enjoy it if you stay there for less than 2 days

I didn't like this hotel for a few reasons. First of all, it is pretty far from everything, you have to walk for at least 10 minutes to get anywhere in the city. Or you can take a cab and go around which will also take 10 minutes. It seems like it's in the center, but it's definitely not. Another reason why I didn't like it was because of their breakfast that didn't taste like food at all. I was in Zaporizhzhya for work, and we had to stay there for about 10 days, or even more. And they had the same food for breakfast every single day. I understand that it's the easiest to do it that way, but it was not a very pleasant experience, especially as the first thing in the morning. Coffee there is also bad, by the way. And because of its location you cannot really go anywhere esle to get coffee! And the most unpleasant thing there was when I asked if I could heat up leftovers from lunch in the evening. My colleague and I were going to eat at the hotel restaurant anyway that night, but I just didn't want to throw away the food I had. When I called the restaurant from my room, they made me call them back because the person who picked up the phone couldn't make a decision regarding heating up my food. When I called them back, they said they wouldn't heat it up, and they only agreed when I made them understand that I wouldn't eat it at their restaurant but in my room. I know that they didn't know that I was staying at that hotel for half of eternity, but they wasted my time and made me feel like I was doing something outrageous by asking them to simply put my leftovers into their microwave.

Horrible staff, unprofessional management, dishonest terms and conditions. Do Not Stay in Reikartz Zaporizhia.

After the reservation of the room, they saw the advertisement, it turns out that the hotel will host the "LUX FM Party Tour" party. After the pool and the spa in the afternoon, the perfect end of the day, is not it? We decided to clarify whether the price includes visiting the party. Then the circles of hell began. Call at the reception in Zaporozhye. Without an answer, although I called during office hours, about 13-30. We decided to call the hotel hotline. Someone quickly answers the phone, but they didnt knwo about this event at the hotel. We were advised to contact the hotel directly. Connected, Thank God, this time answered. The girl at the reception said that she is not familiar with the details of the event. The third attempt, called again at the hotel, but already talked to the hotel manager, outlined the situation and I was told to go to buy tickets to enter the party by my own, warning that from 8 PM there will be a security and they will not let us in to the event. After that, I immediately canceled the room reservation. Conclusion: 1. The cost of the room is 1500 UAH. The cost of the event for two 600 UAH (but you need to buy tickets somewhere yourself, because they can also run it out). Management of the hotel has no idea that this way it pushes clients away. Crazy that the hotel can not afford to entertain their own guests. Moreover, at such a party people spend on cocktails lots of $. 2. The services of the hotel need to know in order to promptly inform visitors, and not to force the client to call back to different office numbers. 3. Because of everything that has happened, now I will never stop at the Reikartz hotel. I'll find another hotel. We have the impression that at every corner with us will try to rip you off.

    Ehhhh...3? - 3-1/2? - 4?

This is one of those times when a place falls someplace near 3.5 in my mind...but do you go to 3 or to 4...an if so, why. We spent 4 nights there earlier this month. We were told staff speaks English, but quickly realize that didn't mean ALL staff! :) I've got no problem with that though...to whatever degree of English anyone DID speak, it was always WAY better than my tiny smattering of Ukranian or Russian! OK---Cons. As I've pointed out before...(and I can only speak for everywhere WE'VE been...) one pillow per bed and go easy on the toilet paper...no extra roll of toilet paper. They don't believe in shelves...you have to put your toiletries on uneven contours of the pedestal sink or the top of the toilet tank. Don't know if other rooms have tubs, but we had a very nice shower unit...but be careful, seems they elevate tubs and showers in Ukraine...so you really are stepping DOWN when leaving the shower or tub. A/C doesn't "blow you away" but will keep the room FAIRLY comfortable. As everywhere else we've been...beautiful, new elevator...maybe 3x4 feet? So some of the "con's" are, perhaps, commonality and custom. The room itself was fairly small, but very clean and the bed was comfortable. Our 3rd floor room overlooked the back of the hotel...(pool and grounds). On Saturday night they had a wedding party, replete with fireworks! (Which were being set off right below us so far as I could tell)...and of course, the dance music was thump...thump...thumping! Because we NEEDED to try to get into the local time setting, keeping us awake till 10-11 p.m. wasn't an issue, and must admit, it "broke up" no later than 11. It was so bad at 7 that when I called room service (#850)...after the ring, ring, ring, ring....the party that eventually answered couldn't be heard over the din! We ended up eating snacks. Then there was the BIRTHDAY PARTY on Sunday! (complete with dance music and a pseudo sumo ring)! Looked like a right lot of fun donning blow-up sumo "bodies" :) This time I was able to get through to room service...and the tiny elevator came into play! I guess they haven't figured out a small, 2-3 tier trolley, so the gal had to bring our trays up in relays! :) Anyway, sleep quality was, unfortunately, quite low. They need to decide what they are...the billed "family friendly" tourist spot, or the "hip" party spot? Pro's? Well, like everything, price-wise it's the bomb...but we'd already stayed at a better place previously for a few dollars LESS...the restaurant for free breakfast had a very good selection of cold and "hot" (warm) foods, even "buckwheat porridge" which I admittedly didn't try. Located along a main road along the Dnieper River, the location was fine...and actually was within "reasonable" walking distance of a modern shopping complex...down the road and up the hill! Perhaps in a different season or simply another week, I'd be rounding UP to "4", but have to round the Reikartz DOWN to "3". (BTW...I didn't find anyone to be rude at all, the staff were plenty polite so far as I was concerned).
