  Internet is an essential service

  Came here on a business trip, there are positives such as the buffet options for meals, the pool, gym, rooms, cleanliness. However no internet for over 24 hours is not acceptable. When reported just told "head office working on it", no details no information just this ridiculous message. Negatives, alot of mosquitoes in the grounds around the pool so spray up, lack of internet, attitude of front desk in reporting issues. Won't stay here again as can't do work!

  The best of them all

  My stay in this Hotel was extremely important afer I worked so hard, I felt like I was in a good mood to continue working cause I a quality time, also ate good food it was fun. I would really love my friends and family to visit this Hotel

  The wonderful Riverside Sun right on the magnificent Vaal River

  Absolutely wonderful having Michelle Bregger back as GM at Riverside Sun. I see a very positive, happy change in attitude in all staff. Breakfast was amazing and I love the fact that Tsogo Sun is actively, not only getting involved in the overall hygiene standards required, but is containing the huge losses on wastage. WELL DONE!!

  Weekend Getaway

  Perfect location to focus on our conference and equally unwind with breath taking views of the Dam. Enjoyed the night cruise under the stars The rooms are spacious very modern with enough space. The staff was courteous, very helpful and went out of their way to give us a good time.. The hotel management made it a point that our weekend was special.

  Not too far

  If you're looking for a quick getaway, the Vaal has many cute little getaways. Riverside sun is mainstream and tucked away at the banks of the Vaal River. We celebrated just 1 night of our anniversary. Hotel was busy even with Covid-19 still prevalent. Rooms could have been cleaner, bathrooms as well. Try to get a room on the river side facing as the parking lot facing also has the highway on that side. Windows open, its very loud, quiet when windows are closed.
