  nice, but not worth the money

  We stayed in this hotel for a nice weekend in the snow. At arrival, the welcome was just fine and the room (studio) was very clean and nice. We took a closer look at the facilities, en found out that most of them where at extra charge. A dip in the whirlpool was 3,50, the jetstream in the swimming pool was 0,50. Is that really what it takes to make profit with a medium sized hotel ? The swimming pool was not that clean, there was some rubbish on the bottom and it was there for at least 3 days. Then there was the Spa with (I quote the website) "these showers with tropical and arctic rain, surge streams and stinger jets, make showering an adventure." To start with, it was one shower, which was just a shower with changing led lights. No sound, no surge streams and no stinger jets. So, it's all there, but not as the advertise it. But I must say, it's not bad, en the nice beds make up for a lot of those minor things. Only thing which they can do little about, is the high factor of snobbery guests. But we had a good laugh about the way people looked at two young people spending some money for a good weekend. Last thing, it's a good 750m from the slopes, and the only way to get there is car or walk. About the money, the hotel was with a good sized room (studio) and breakfast at 75 a person to expensive at my opinion.

  Clean, but expensive

  Only stayed for 1 night. Hotel situated in the middle of town, not really walking distance to the slope but I believe there is a hotel shuttle service to the slope. There is free parking at the hotel but it was busy so we ended parking on the street. Room was very clean with efficient staff. Good selection for breakfast. We paid EUR 147 per night which is expensive (double room with pull out sofa bed). Room itself was adequate, but the whole hotel felt it was last decorated in the 1980's. Overall, comfortable stay, just a bit expensive.

  no better place to have a wonderful X-mas time : Ruters parkhotel in Willingen. Beautiful rooms , exquise meals , wellness : everything you need this time of the year...

  Nice stay

  Nice hotel with all you need. I had a very nice and big room with even a sitting area and a nice balcony. Rooms are spacious and in good condition. Very nice and a modern bathroom. Nice restaurant and a good choice of items to eat at the breakfast buffet. Also lunch and dinner was great at the restaurant. Staff is friendly and helpful.

  German Hospitality

  At the reception we were welcomed with the good German hospitality and personally guide to our room. Our room was situated at the old part of the hotel (near de mainroad). This part of the hotel is somewhat out dated. The bed was not so good, my back was sore. Breakfast was well organized, good quality and fresh. Real scrabbled eggs, But No fresh orange juice. Because it was very close to the skipiste and enough parkingspace, we would come again, But only in the new part of the hotel and of they have a better bed there.
