  Un fantastico hotel

  El hotel ha sido recientemente rehabilitado y esta en perfectas condiciones. Al personal le falta un poco de practica ya que todos son nuevos y un poco inexpertos. El desayuno es buenisimo, con bastante variedad y platos calientes hechos al momento. Se cena muy bien y a buen precio.

  Tired and disappointing

  We were looking forward to a lovely stay at what looks like a well kept hotel from the website - sorry to say it was distinctly average. The hotel has obviously chosen the best photos for the website .... our room - even though we were upgraded - was not really what we were expecting. The breakfasts were however huge, but please can someone turn on more lights? - The atmosphere in the room could potentially be OK for a romantic evening meal, IF there are other people around - but a dark gloomy room for breakfast on an overcast day, is not something to inspire anyone! Staff also need to be a bit quicker in relation to customer service ..... four requests for something later, we finally performed a promised task ourselves!

  Lovely stay and wonderful staff

  Lovely hotel and fantastic staff. Food was excellent. Room and bathroom were clean and tidy, although decor was a little tired. A huge thank you to Lizzie for the gift, you were an absolute life saver x

  FANTASTIC EVENT

  We took our daughter for the Breakfast with the princesses event this morning . Organisation was spot on , food was spot on and staff are still incredible ! Sean the GM who was so welcoming was also very hands on and had the whole team working 100% Would highly recommend the function room for family and corporate events Once again a successful trip . Top work Castle !

  Lovely hotel, pity about the soundproofing between rooms

  This could be a lovely hotel, but... There is a real problem with sound insolation between rooms. My partner got very little sleep the first night because of the couple next door to his room chatting after arriving back well after midnight and then putting the TV on loudly early the next morning. The following night the person in the room above me kept getting up (possibly to go to the loo) about every hour from midnight to 4am. The tramp of every step was perfectly transmitted through the floorboards and ceiling. That said, the staff were absolutely wonderful. We dined in the restaurant or bar every night and could not fault the food or the service. Equally, the rooms were perfectly clean and well heated (it was December), with modern bathrooms. Sadly, we came away from our 3-day break more exhausted than when we arrived.
