  NICE HOTEL

  The food was amazing in this hotel and I loved going for breakfast and lunch as was not so busy, dinner, on the other hand, was another matter, we went down at 7.00 as found this the best time for us as we were hungry, we found every day half the hotel waiting for the doors to be open and then rush in like the food was going to finish, I feel this could have been controlled a lot better by people being given slots on arrival, we did look at later times but it was always so busy and the western Europeans which seem to be mostly the people in the hotel have no manners and just push you out the way. Half the sunbeds was in the shade so no use to us and then the people who did take the ones in the sun put the umbrellas up to be in the shade. We noticed a lot of people putting towels down and then not coming to use them until around 12.00 which is unfair. The rooms were very clean but our bed was never made up and the sheets were just put at the bottom of the bed, I have never come across this in a hotel before, 2 days sheets was not even left and we had to report this to reception who did get this sorted very fast. There also seems to be little entertainment in the hotel and U never saw an animator the whole time I was there although did here she did stuff in the gym, I would have liked some aqua aerobics as it ws hot to be in a gym. I would recommend this hotel but only for a week stay, for me, 2 weeks was much too long due to the location and by the second week I was counting the days to come home.

  Nice, little hotel. Enjoyable stay.

  Hotel is nice itself, staff very helpful, lovely and hard-working. Location is nice, if you like to stay in a quiet place. Northern part of island has pebbled beaches, south has more places to visit and some sandy beaches and it is close to the airport. Rooms are nice and good size. We had a quiet room on the back side and it was perfect for us. But mattresses are very uncomfortable. There is only one swimming pool and sunbeds are cramped- it was a bit of downside. Food is very tasty but not very varied. Serving area is very small and long queues are standard. All inclusive snacks and drinks- average. Hotel is situated next to the beach and has its own beach but you have to pay for sunbeds. But this was not an issue for me, really. In the evening, you can sit outside facing beach what is nice. There is a local tavern with lovely food and cheap beer ;-).

  Holiday

  Stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. Well what can I say rooms were clean sheets and towels changes about 4 or 5 times. Food ok my husband is very fussy so some days he just had chip sandwich. I myself found food very tasty and loads of it. The staff are so friendly always say good morning. Bar staff are very busy but always there with a smile. Beach is only just across the road. The only thing I would say is tol no one is on the beds. But all in all a good place to stay.

  Relaxing week away.

  My husband & I and two of our friends stayed here for a week. Our room was clean and not a bad size but the downside was our bacolny over looked some bushes. The food was nice, but we felt the dinner hall needed some organisation, as it was very busy and people would push in knowing there was a queuing system. It only rained for one day, but everyone wanted to eat inside which meant the hall was packed as they couldn't cater for everyone due to the lack of space, so ppl got turned away until it became less busy. Food was ok and there we enough to chose from, so you wouldn't starve. The sun loungers around the pool were nice if you could get one! A lot of ppl placed their towels down to save them but wouldn't use them. In the end we decided to use the ones at the beach instead, opposite the hotel which cost 2.50 a day . They could have done more with the entertainment in the evenings as there was hardly any. We saw Greek dancers & a singer, both were good but we felt they could have done more. All in all the hotel and staff were very nice and we had a lovely relaxing week away and the weather was hot.. I just wish there was more to do outside the hotel as there wasn't much activities or entertainment going on inside the hotel, shame really when they have the space to do more.

  Good, but location location!

  We had 2 weeks at this hotel from 19th September to 3rd of October.The hotel is very nice and the food and staff are excellent. The wine was not bad but the spirits and cocktails are poor at best. The "All Inclusive" isn't really as the drinks are only free until 10.00pm with the bar carrying on until midnight.There is very little entertainment but Greek Night is great fun albeit the entertainment continues past 10.00pm when the bar empties. The food is very good with a nice smattering of "Greek" dishes. Go later rather than early to dinner if you want to choose a table rather than stampede with the rest. The pool is not big and children etc make it quite noisy. The beach is close by over the road where 2 beds and an umbrella will cost you 5 euros. It is a stony beach but okay, the sea is sandy after the first 5 yards. The hotel is situated in the working port/town of Karlovasi which is on the north west of the island and is out on a limb if you want excursions or the prettier places on the south coast. If you want to hire a car, driving is fine and you can get around but be warned without one its buses or no where. The staff are very friendly and helpful and our room was clean and everything worked. If all you want is time to lounge around in the sun, read, eat and drink till 10.00pm then this hotel is good but not the best location for the island.
