  It is my 3rd stay in scarlet lodge and i have tried other 5 star hotels in lagos. Scarlet is way better in terms of cleanliness professionalism and service. You can benefit from the pool and gym as well. The lodge have almost 14 rooms which are soo clean, wide, and very well equipped. The restaurant services the best food in lagos and i think in all Africa. Everything is fresh and the menu has a wide variety of items (international-oriental-african...) The most important edge is the water system that have been installed in scarlet, it is the only place in lagos where u can brush your teach from the tap water. If you to enjoy your stay in lagos, definitely come to scarlet. Yassar Hamdan

  Good Choices Good Value

  Scarlet Lodge located in V. I. Lagos is one of the few boutique hotels with a good restaurant offering good service and good meals. It's known also for the chilled ambiance the courtyard has to offer. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating and for those who do Shisha it serves really good shisha. Good choice of Lebanese and continental meals at affordable prices on the menu. The restaurant also has a full bar serving good cocktails and other assortment of alcoholic and no alcoholic drinks. If your ordering pasta be sure to get the message to the chef how you want it cooked. Most places in Lagos serving pasta hardly do it Al dente unless you are specific. Try the yam balls if you're looking for a nice starter. Enjoy your visit!

  Wi-Fi is a problem

  Abysmall performance of the Wi-Fi. As a business traveller it is not worth. Environment is cozy and calm. Staff is very helpful and courteous so five stars to them. The location is good. When we talk about the food, it is not that great. Only the chicken supreme soup is appealing.

  Reasonable hotel for the price and location

  We spent just one night here and were rather impressed with what we got for the price compared to other way more expensive hotels on Victoria Island. The restaurant had a good menu, although much of it was unavailable (I was looking forward to trying their quinoa and avocado but it wasnt available). The chef is Egyptian so the food is halal. Our room wasnt ready when we arrived so they put us in a temporary room by the bar to rest. They moved us after dinner to a large room with separate living room, but unfortunately some bugs came in and we had to change rooms once again. This third room was fine. The kitchen kindly brought us breakfast at 5:30am as we had to depart early, but then they had problems checking us out as the breakfast bill hadnt been added yet. We had to wait 10-15 min to checkout and we were in a rush to get to the airport. Overall we were impressed with this hotel for the price, but the front desk service could be improved.

  Victoria Islands hidden gem

  This boutique hotel is an underrated spot in Lagos. The first thing to boast about is its location- situated in Victoria island it is within close proximity to a range of restaurants, bars, and clubs on Ajose Adeogun street. I spent two nights in the Junior Executive room which was a good size. Upon arrival, a bottle of water was available which was handy. The bed was definitely king or larger, and comfy too. There was plenty of socket space near the bed - perfect for charging electronic devices whilst not being too far from you. I didnt encounter any vermin or pests in my room itself but had to shut the door quickly to ensure mosquitoes didnt gain entry. The Television was a good size and the full-length mirror wardrobe, with hangers, meant I could hang a few outfits up. There was plenty of storage space, the decor was modern and simple, and there was also a desk and stool chair (without a backrest) so if on a business trip its something you should be mindful about. The lighting in the bathroom was bright there was a make-up mirror in addition to the main mirror and Shampoo/ body wash was included in the shower. The water pressure was good and the temperature remained hot throughout showering. Sockets were available for shavers. The Towels were brilliantly white, although the lint came off onto my skin when drying down so it seems some of them were brand new. The USP of this hotel has to be the design of the building which is two separate blocks linked by a beautifully crafted outdoor pool and lounge area, complete with a bar leading to an indoor restaurant which is best visited at night. The receptionists were attentive and keen to assist. The complimentary breakfast was filling; I was served my choice of cereal, with a croissant and a small teapot to refill my cups of tea. The Wi-Fi in my room was scanty and didnt always connect in all parts of my room for example near the bed but overall good experience.
