  Disappointing This Time

  We have stayed at the Sea Mist several times, and always enjoyed it, sadly this visit was a big disappointment. Room A7 Make over, on first impression looked ok, Shower floor tiles were more slippy than the old ones, could do with a shower grab rail, why are there no smoke alarms in the rooms? Mattresses were very old and lumpy! could do with changing. Bedding and towels are threadbare, with rips in most of the bedding didn't always smell fresh either! During breakfast there is just 1 waiter on duty from 7.30am until 9am, he has to deal with guests, outside visitors, and deal with room service too, far too much for just one waiter to deal with!. (reported, but no change) Pool. Brollies still only 4 usable for a 26 room hotel, Mentioned this on my trip adviser report in 2017? Local guests going in pool fully clothed, this was reported by British guests several times, no action was taken, also drinking, and leaving bottles right on the edge of the pool, again reported to management, and staff, but again turned a blind eye? Pool, understandably looked murky most days. Outside guests using pool, There were 6 while we were there. There are not enough sunbeds and brollies for the paying guests who are staying at the hotel. Locals paid far less than British guests, but sadly was treated much better!

  The holiday at the Sea Mist was very enjoyable.The staff,location, surroundings,cleanliness throughout,food & service were excellent & of a high standard. The pool area is beautiful but definitely requires more sun beds to accommodate a greater number of guests. The lounge area in the accommodation was fine, though the shower/ toilet area, although adequate,requires refurbishment to a higher level. Walking on a wet floor, sometime after showering,to use the toilet is not good & could be hazardous. Possibly slipping & resulting in a fall. However, overall, thanks for a very memorable holiday. Would not hesitate, in the future, to make a return visit. If our recommendations were to be met, we would definitely give the hotel a rating of 4.

  A Little Oasis!

  We have been staying here for 10 years! We have looked at many hotels.. But Id rather stay here than the 5 star Taj.!, Small friendly, rooms good and clean, staff friendly and cannot do enough. A lovely restaurant on site, Stay in if you want to chill or easy to walk to beaches and town.

  Average hotel

  Hotel is walking distance from Candolim Beach. Breakfast is distance. We were disappointed to know that the Pool was closed, no wi-fi in rooms, and no parking inside the hotel >>> some of the reasons we booked this hotel !!! The property is not well maintained. Don't go by the photographs. Rooms are small.

  Wonderful hotel with pool and ofcourse nice staff

  The resort is very nice, the staff have been really great ,the pool was nice and clean. The location of the hotel is superb and several beaches were near to the hotel location. Would highly recommend this place.
