  Muy buen hotel

  Muy buen hotel, cercano a la estacion de tren apsley, muy bien mantenido y la atencion es excelente, cuartos amplios y comodos, el desayuno razonable y una razonable ecuacion costo&beneficio, no tiene gimnasio y tiene una excelente vista a las canchas de golf.

  Excelente opción

  Hotel acogedor, cómodo y tranquilo. Teníamos miedo de los comentarios de que había bodas y encuentros que se oían desde las habitaciones y no podías dormir. Llegamos y lo primero que vimos fue que había una boda...pero hemos de confesar que no oimos ningún ruido y pudimos dormir cómodamente. Habitaciones amplias y bien equipadas. Desayuno completo. Hotel y entorno encantador. El único inconveniente: necesitavamos habitación triple y tuvimos que reservar 2 habitaciones dobles. No tienen habitaciones triples para adultos. Ideal para visitar la Warner Bross Studio - Harry Potter Tour y la zona de Oxfordshire.

  Covid Wedding 2020

  On behalf of my new Husband and I we would like to say how amazing Shendish Manor have been throughout this pandemic! We were due to marry May 2020 however with lockdown we were unable to, Shendish have been amazing with helping work out new dates and have been so accommodating Aimee Juchau is such a credit to Shendish Manor along with Bryher Fuller who has been incredible we thank you two ladies so much, thanks to you both this experience has been easier to handle. We moved our date to 3rd December 2020 for 15 people and have moved our bigger wedding to 2022 both at the Manor. On the date 3rd December Shendish Manor team were a god send they allowed myself to go and set up evening before which was a big help and on the day they were very thorough and Ethan the Duty Manager always made sure everything was ok and helped in anyway he could - Thank you Ethan for making our day run so smoothly. They have perfected Covid weddings 2020 and I honestly have no negative comment to say about Team Shendish they are fantastic and for us we couldnt have picked a better more understanding Venue for our special day! We cant wait to be back in 2022 to celebrate again!! Thank you Shendish Manor! From Mr and Mrs Brazza :)

  Covid Meal

  Visited for starters/snacks - declined entry! The staff were adamant we ordered mains! We politely declined this "rip off" attitude. In the current economic environment this establishment really needs to sort this out if it is to survive.

  Horrendous - afternoon Tea. WALKED OUT

  Myself and a friend visited for our joint birthday treat. I wasnt expecting the Ritz we could eat in darkness beneath the rotten ceiling. Our waiter took our drinks order - and told us there would likely be a wait. As we had not eaten yet and it was 1pm we asked if some snacks could be brought over - were they 'kindly' offered us walkers cheese and onion crisps. The table behind us was also offered this thrilling treat. 10 minutes later to our suprise our food arrived. (If we were told this was the wait time we would've denied the crisps. I felt especially sorry for the table behind as they had eaten their crisps, and had in fact been waiting for their roasts - like that doesnt spoil your appetite!) The food was bland. Tasteless and just gross. Sandwiches consisted of completely flavourless salmon, a Christmas one, egg, and a soggy brown pepper - which I maybe been the grossest thing I've ever eaten. I would've rather made myself a sandwich. I asked for salt and pepper - however this didnt arrive till after I had eaten what was able to be swallowed. The scones were the only ok thing. However they weren't great also - jam flavourless and cream was runny. The cakes - well. Let's not go there. Could've gotten better from morrisons. Disgusting. The positive was - there was more than enough food. (Even if disgusting) Throughout our 2hrs of being there. Once our food was served, not 1 waiter checked on us. Asked if we wanted a top up of tea. Or even how our food was. Even when we were literally looking for someone to bring us some more tea. Not 1 person was in site. In fact, when we were ready to leave after waiting 10 mins to see a waiter, we WALKED OUT! With every intention of paying - when there is noone to collect your money, what do you do? (They 30mins later called us, once they had noticed we had left, and we payed over the phone. They were nice enough to give us 10% off for the inconvenience. Which was also an insult!) Please just dont go here. You will be disgusted.
