  Average Hotel

  Room is clean, however with very bad sound insulation. First impression it has strong smoky smell ,even though it is a non smoking room. Buffet breakfast more Chinese style than western. Service average, asked the bell boy would it be possible to arrange a taxi, he pointed to the road side and said there are many taxis over there. Which is not a big deal. However from service perspective, it can be improved. Has to login to use wifi once out of the room. I'm sure it is according to local regulations in order to monitor the netizens internet activities. But not very convenient for business guests. Gym is well equipped. Overall, ok for short stay, but wouldn't recommend.

  Would give this Hotel a miss

  States 5 star although would say more like a 2/3 . Three out of 5 of us had to change rooms on arrival as the rooms are all quite warm with staines on the carpets Some rooms have glass bathrooms so be warned if you are sharing with anybody as their is no privacy. The breakfast restaurant is very poor where you set your own table,make your own coffee etc, the hygiene is very poor we sat near the area where they clear the tables where you could see open bins with scraps of food in which smelt Also when queuing for a fried egg the chef dropped his egg slice and just picked it up and put it back on the hot plate

  Enjoyable stay

  The hotel room was spacious. It has great buffet spread for lunch and dinner. Free flow of beer and cheese red wine. The staff were very courteous. The location is within many amenities and shopping more. You can always find food and enjoy a massage within walking distance.

  Not a great choice.

  This hotel looks great in the pictures, but when you arrive is just ok. The hotel has not been renovated in quite a long time, so it needs some refreshment. The rooms are ok, but not super great. Very dark and also need some TLC. But the most difficult part is the food. The choice is 1000% Asian, they do not have anything even close to what Americans like for breakfast, not even eggs. They only speak English at the reception. So is difficult to communicate. I do not recommend this hotel for Eastern customers because they are mostly focused on Chinese guests.

  Reasonable hotel that is well located for business, but you can find better at this price point

  Not to far from Shekou or Fuyong ferry terminal or airport and close enough to where I need to go. Initial impressions are good but like so many hotels in Shenzhen when you look a little closer the place could certainly do with some attention. Rooms are spacious but not well maintained and out of three separate 3 night trips each time I have needed to move to a different room. The last time staying in one of the executive rooms there was no hot water for my shower in the morning. Had to go down several floors in my PJ's to get a room with hot water then back to my own room. Apology offered but no discount for this inconvenience. Breakfast bar is OK, I enjoy local food though so if your a western breakfast type there is not a lot to choose from. I have been lazy and not made the effort to find somewhere else because of the convenient location, but I think the most recent visit with no hot water will be the last.
