  Good location to visit Great Ocean Road, but dont have oven,WiFi bad

  Caro para la calidad de la pieza, no tiene horno solo microondas, te incluyen café y leche para hacerte en la pieza. Tiene parking, recepción después de las 5 pm te dejan llave en una caja. Wifi malo. Cama buena pero parece Motel la distribución.

  Por sobre todo, cómodo

  Es un típico motel, se estaciona frente a la habitación. De calidad media, cómodo. El pueblo es pequeño y precioso y el hotel está frente al mar aunque no tiene vistas desde la habitación. vale la pena alojarse aquí por la comodidad de acceso a las maravillas de las Great Ocean road

  Cosy and best value for money! Offcourse the best view!

  This is a very unassuming place. We stayed there for a couple of nights. The place is extremely cosy and well maintained. It has the best view. At the heart of Port Cambell. All amenities, restaurants, even the gas station, very close. Very friendly staff. I will stay there whenever I will visit Port Cambell.

  Our booking was cancelled without notification

  We were really looking forward to staying at this property but when we arrived on Boxing Day we were told that the booking had been cancelled. We had made the booking over a month earlier and everything had been confirmed. We also received a confirmation by email on Christmas Eve and through the Booking.com app. When we pointed this out to the girl on Reception, she just kept repeating that the booking had been cancelled and there was nothing they could do about it. As it was a holiday period we couldn't find any other accommodation near the sea, but thankfully managed to book two nights in Colac. I took this up with Booking.com and after some investigation they came back with "the property was not able to accommodate you at the time of arrival". This was really disappointing, not only because we'd so been looking forward to a couple of days on the coast and had driven hours to get there, but also because they didn't even have the courtesy to notify us of the cancellation. So if you ever do decide to book at the Southern Ocean i recommend that you ring and confirm your booking the day before you arrive.

  Great location but lacking in some important areas...

  We had a family suite, great location good parking and spacious grounds. However, it was still lacking in some areas. Recently renovated - however, poorly executed. I worry for water damage to the motel in the future due to lack of sealing around taps and tiles. Terrible shower head, water leaked everywhere too - however towels were changed daily so seemed cleaning team aware of problem that could be easily fixed with some plastic stripping on the bottom of the shower door (and some bleach!). Whilst it had a full length mirror which is great, it's positioning is poor behind the bathroom door, should be in master bed room as no other mirror in the place. Speaking of which, this room was quite spacious with big window. However, the mattress was extremely unconfrtable for both my husband and I actually in pain with little quality sleep the entire stay - this was probably the worst part for us, the rest I can live with! The dishes in the kitchenette were all dirty and needed a good clean (as did most of the room). The window above the childrens beds has a roller blind with the long cord (within easy reach of a small child) not restrained as I believe it really needs to be for safety - especially in a family suite. It was left dandling very low above childs bed, we looped it up as high as possible and didn't open it again until we had left. I just feel like the place needs someone to give it some TLC and $1000 for 3 nights means it wasn't the cheapest place we could've stayed so that's why I'm being extra picky! I received no confirmation email or call 24/48hrs ahead of checkin to confirm reservation so I called to be sure as I had read previous reviews. There's a big TV in the room, but gets about 4 channels poorly - understand being a rural town this is why but perhaps think outside the box for your customers! Maybe an idea to have DVD player in each room with a selection of DVD's at reception for rent? Just some ideas, this motel has great potential if given some love by the owners.
