  El hotel es muy bonito, como en la foto, pero no muy grande, el problema es q no hay nada al rededor, alejado de todo, en medio de la selva, el problema es q sólo puedes consumir en el hotel y aprovechan eso para poner unos precios abusivos muy muy muy superiores a la calidad q ofrecen y a la media en Bali, el hotel no es caro pero luego no te puedes marchar de allí y te ves abocado a gastarte una pasta en el hotel para comer, sin alternativas baratas en la carta, ni poder desplazarte a ningún lado. Y si quieres tratamientos de spa son caros comparados con la media de Bali. A mi eso me pareció una encerrona, me disgusto y amargó la estancia. Por lo demás puedo destacar unas clases de yoga fantásticas. Si no te importa gastarte una pasta en el hotel y no ver Bali entonces te gustara, pero si quieres disfrutar de las ofertas de Bali y callejear, darte masajes baratos y comer bien y barato este no es tu sitio

  Very expensive poor quality

  Muy alejado, comida carísima (como en el mejor restaurante de Barcelona) pero de calidad muy mala. Imposibilidad de comer en ningún otro sitio que no esté en el hotel. Actividades y servicios carísimos. Traslado al aeropuerto por 70$ (un taxi con chofer todo el día en cualquier otro lugar de Bali nos salía por 30). Si no consumías en el hotel dejaban de ser amables contigo. El recinto era pequeño y aunque tenía una piscina muy bonita no representa para nada lo maravillosa que es la isla de Bali. Este Hotel fue lo peor de nuestro viaje.

  Most relaxing holiday ever ( and we travel a lot )

  My wife and I can highly recommend this resort as a perfect place to have a quiet , non touristy , authentic Balinese holiday. Its not for those seeking a shopping or active holiday but rather a quiet, calming and soothing holiday. A place to do yoga, exercise, read and enjoy the magnificent surrounds and pristine ocean. The pool is fantastic, the grounds are lovely and the food and staff magnificent. Thank you for a wonderful holiday to all staff , The daily massage was a highlight . Fond regards j n k Dyk

  Beautiful Resort, Delicious Food, Outstanding Service & a Killer View

  The journey took us 2.5 hours from downtown Kuta before arriving at our Spa Tembok Bali destination as we had made a couple of stops in between in a luxury vehicle. During the journey, we were each given bottled mineral water & prepacked Rojak, a delicious local fruit & vegetable salad dish comprising of pineapple & cucumber cuts with spicy sauce. There were also cold hand towels for our use. Our driver was very friendly & accommodating. He had made some stops along the way so that I could purchase whatever was required. In addition, he had also showed us some beautiful spots which were photo-op worthy. Among them were the terraced rice fields & Mount Agung. We arrived just before 4:00 pm & were greeted by the staff warmly, given a welcome drink & a cold towel. Furthermore, we were treated to a foot bath, head, neck & shoulder massage at the lobby area for 30 minutes. Soon after the check-in process, we were escorted to our room by the Manager who explained what our package entailed & the itinerary throughout our stay. Our room was simply beautiful & cosy. The décor was rustic Balinese & our sliding door opened up to the garden & nearby pool. There was no internet or television as the point was to reconnect with ourselves, partner, surroundings & nature. An electric mosquito repellent was also thoughtfully provided amongst a wicker bag, torchlight & umbrella for our use. Unfortunately, there was no hand bidet in the bathroom which was quite upsetting. We had freshened-up & was ready for our complimentary 50-minute body massage. We were told to change into the fishermans pants & top which were in the wardrobe & head-over to the Spa treatment room. It was only 5 minutes from our room by foot. Upon arrival, we were treated to some frozen grapes & watermelon on a skewer taken out from a fridge. Soon after, our tired bodies were being kneaded & pampered by the talented masseuse. We were given a choice of premium essential oils to use & the freedom to choose either soft, medium or hard massage strokes. I started off with hard & gradually changed to medium as the masseuses deft fingers were strong & she had a lot of strength in her. The music in the room was soothing & I was close to dozing off. It was truly wonderful being pampered with daily body massage. We were joined by our 2 friends later on for dinner. The restaurant offers ala-carte menu which changes every single day. We were allowed to have a starter, main dish & dessert for lunch & dinner. Though the main dish looked little, we were surprised to find ourselves full to the brink. The food quality was superb & tasty due to the fresh ingredients used. Meals were crafted & prepared from the days catch. As for breakfast, it was either a choice of continental or local breakfast & a basket of soft rolls. We were also given complimentary jamu drinks. Jamu are local herbal medicinal drinks. We got up early the next morning to catch the morning sunrise cruise. Each boat was only seated for 3 people, the boatman & a couple. It was the same for the sunset cruise. Personally, I had enjoyed the sunrise better than the sunset. It was such a spectacular view & experience. Our feet were comfortable & felt relaxed as Crocs sandals were provided before we boarded the boat. Our boatman offered us bottled mineral water & snacks too. Since we wanted to enjoy the view to the max, we did not eat during the cruise. Instead, we took them back to our rooms for later. Spa Tembok Bali also provides complimentary & chargeable activities for its customers. However, we decided to indulge in the complimentary ones which included the star-gazing activity at night after dinner. We would lie on our backs on a huge bed-like float in the swimming pool to enjoy the stars & night while listening to soothing music in the background. It was a perfect end before bed. When we got back into our room, we found our bath tub filled with rose petals for a quick dip every night as well. It was probably prepared during the turn-down service. The next complimentary activity took place the next day after lunch. Two lovely staff taught us how to make our own body scrub. It was very hands-on & we brought it back to our rooms to use for later. The resorts gym was a good size filled with cardio machines & dumb-bells. There was a xylophone for us to harness our musical talent as well. We were there for less than an hour as we wanted to get ready for dinner. Our best place would be the infinity swimming pool & the gazebo or pavilion area which were surrounded by majestic palm trees. The swimming pool was strategically located. It was facing the ocean. You could hear the waves from down below & enjoy the ocean breeze at the same time. If youre lucky, you might be able to spot the fishermen in their sampans coming back from the days work too. As for me, I was totally delighted by the thatched roof open wall pavilions which offered a cool shade underneath the hot sun during the day. My partner & I had dozed off in the evening in one of the pavilions. They were very comfortable with pillows & drapes on the side for a little privacy. Check-out was a breeze. Since we were so happy & appreciative with the service provided by all the staff, my partner decided to give each staff a tip, especially the 2 masseuse & those who had served us at the restaurant. They had greeted us like friends & took really good care of us. Before we left the resort, each of us were given a boiled egg in a small weaved container. However, we werent sure of its significance or what it meant. Furthermore, the gong was also struck to inform our departure from the Hotel. We had our same driver driving us back to the airport which was good. Overall, this Spa Tembok Bali is probably the best boutique hotel that weve ever come across. We will definitely be back as the place is simply magical. It is there that we were able to unwind, relax & simply be one with nature. It was very peaceful, serene & picturesque. Interestingly enough, most hotel guests found it easy to bond with one another. Everyone was happy, contented & enjoyed the laidback atmosphere. It is no wonder that Spa Tembok Bali has such a loyal clientele list. They always come back yet again.

  Incredibly relaxing

  Excellent hotel and spa. Very peaceful and tranquil. Good location on a deserted beach. The hotel has a very attractive pool. The dining area is lovely and the food outstanding. The spa treatments were amazing!
