    Condescending Customer Service

    Full disclosure, the customer service over the phone was so terrible that I honestly hung up after being placed on hold for the third time and didn't follow through with my intended reservation. I called to book a room for my mom. The first man that answered when I called for the first time, was polite and even though he seemed to be new and had some trouble helping me, he was upfront about it which I appreciated. But when it came time to taking down my card information, he told me that my card kept getting declined. He asked me for the number a total of 4 times before I suggested that I just call my card company and then call him back. I asked if he could put a hold on my room for the rest of the day just so that we wouldn't have to start this process all over and was told yes. The second time I called back, a different man answered. I explained to him what had happened before and that I was just calling to finish my reservation. He explained to me that we don't "hold rooms" for people and that I wasn't in the system. So I had to start the process all over again. About 1/2 way through our conversation, he interrupted me in mid word and said "hang on" and put me on hold. After a few minutes, a woman picks up and asks how she can help me. So I explain for the 3rd time why I am calling and what I need help with. She then becomes irritated and asks, "Why would you just GIVE someone here your card information? We don't NEED that to book your room." So I push back and ask her why I would question the trained person who works there and why would I find it weird that I need a credit card to reserve a hotel room since that is standard practice. She audibly huffs at me and tells me she doesn't know why I would "just do that" but that she can "fix it" and puts me on hold without even telling me. That's when I decided it wasn't worth it and hung up. If that's how I am treated at the customer service desk, I do not want my mom staying there alone with people who would treat their guests like that. I then called my card company back, explained to them what had happened, and told them that I do not authorize any transactions that come from that hotel and asked them to refute anything that has their name on it.

    Good size room

    The front service desk was very courteous checking us in. Our first impression of the room was that it was spacious and roomy. The bathroom and shower stall appear clean. Overall, it seems like a nice quality room. However, one of the handle was missing on the toilet stall. The other issue is the blow dryer did not work. The TV was in good order. We had not used the tub yet. The bed sheets appear to be older so of course, a small stain is noted. I did note a strong bleach smell from the linens. I am wondering if a better option is available for disinfection due to environmental reasons.

    On A Mission

    The location was great. The front desk staff were very welcoming; service was wonderful. The desk personnel provided a map to help in planning the family's goals. I would strongly recommend this location.

    Fair Deal

    Location is nice. Staff was pleasant. My biggest complaint was the bed was not up to normal Marriott standard. Seemed old and flat. Otherwise the room was clean, although a bit dated (not the worst I've seen in a Springhill though).

    Nice, clean, modern hotel!!

    My family of 4 recently stayed here on our return home and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel and room was for the money. This hotel was one of the nicer places we have stayed in. The room had 2 queen size beds and a couch that could have also slept someone else. The shower room was separate from the bathroom which was nice so someone could have privacy while someone else showered in the other room. This my first time staying in a room in this hotel chain and based on our experience, I would definitely try them again. The evening front desk gentleman was very friendly.
