  They go above and beyond

  From an early check in to a late check out with a great location and awesome, spacious rooms SpringHill Suites and its staff go above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Cannot recommend enough for a stay in Lawrence.

  Visiting our Jayhawk

  Fantastic location! Comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff! Traveling in the current time is definitely different. The hotel was very clean, we felt very safe. Free breakfast was run decently, although Saturday was much smoother than Sunday. Decent selection, nothing really to complain about.

  Excellent Hospitality

  Stayed here while in town picking up my college student. I usually stay at a different hotel in town but I had seen this was eager to check it out due to location. Upon arrival I was surprised that you park at a city riverfront lot (reserved space for guests) and walk down a corridor to get to hotel. The doors were locked but when I pushed the buzzer I was quickly buzzed in. Hotel has a big open foyer with view of the river. We were warmly welcomed by friendly front desk attendant and when we asked if it was ok to sit in breakfast area to eat she made sure to put the lights on and gave us the remote for TV. Our second floor room was clean and beds comfortable. Room had a couch and 'kitchenette' area so felt roomy. We could hear a train a few times and we had a neat view of the river. In the morning I inquired about walking along the river and the clerk told me what my options were, reminded me to bring my key card, and fixed me a cup of coffee for my walk. The morning desk clerk was running the desk as well as the 'grab and go' breakfast area and had an extremely friendly and hospitable attitude. I heard her greeting guests by name (I believe they were frequent guests), and her attitude showed she really loves her job and being a good host. I have traveled to hotels in the midwest quite a few times during the pandemic and have been so disappointed in the lack of a true feeling of Hospitality. Some have had no one at the desk at all, no food service, and some have felt almost ghostly with so few guests. The staff at Springhill Suites in Lawrence property has gotten it right.

  Awesome staff, great location

  Heidi the GM and her team are amazing. I have stayed at this property everytime I get a work assignment in Lawrence. The property is right downtown which provides a great ease of access to shops and restaurants.

  We had the single king bed room. Clean room. Very helpful staff at front desk. I forgot my mask and she graciously gave me another so holding people to good safety standards, but did so very pleasantly.
