  Nasty

  Where do I start. No chain on guest room door. Bathroom was out dated, floors looked dirty, base boards were nasty dirty, every time I took a shower the water was cold, hot, cold, couldn't get it regulated. The wash clothes were dirty before being used, house keeping never came. We had to ask for clean towels and wash cloths. Breakfast, milk was in the fridge but it was warm, bread was hard before toasted, the rolls/donuts were dry and almost gone and we were there by 8am, no coffee. I would never stay here again. For the price I would expect great service and clean rooms and towels and a breakfast that could be eaten. I would not recommend staying here.

  A really nice family run hotel

  I had the opportunity to stay at this Super 8 Hotel in Madison South Dakota for ten days in July 2019. The owners were very attentive. The hotel was clean in both the common areas and in the rooms. The hotel is located in a good area of Madison and there is a waterpark across the Street. There is plenty of nice restaurants in Madison. This hotel is right down the road from Prairie Town and Lake Herman. The hotel has breakfast each morning from 6 to 9 am. I really felt that this is a good and affordable hotel option for families. They are pet friendly too. I wished that they had a pool, but the waterpark next door was nice. I very much reccomend them!

  Overnight visit to son's college

  From check in through check out the next day, staff was friendly and shared many smiles! The room was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The breakfast is exactly as they advertise, quick and simple. All area's of the hotel were clean. They were very accommodating when I asked for a little extra sleep time, and as I said earlier, with the smiles, it created a "welcome" atmosphere.

  It's cheap.

  You get what you pay for. Room not cleaned well. Supervisor obviously not checking employees work. Not the first experience with this. Wouldn't be my first choice. But, with the flooding, had no other choice as the better motel was full.

  VERY NICE FOLKS HERE

  Just Traveling Through Madison South Dakota and Staying here for 2 days.. I think this is a very decent small Super 8 and the Live In Managers here husband and Wife are very friendly nice People. The Rooms are very clean and kept up nice. They have a decent good breakfast and the Beds are the best I've slept in. For a while. Very cool place. I highly recommend all Travelers to make this your designated stop when coming through the Madison South Dakota Area. Very affordable and worth the money. Good stay and would definately stay again. Thumbs up to this Motel here in Madison.
