  Beauty and history

  We were warmly welcomed to this historic ranch by Kirsten and family. We researched the history before arriving and it really helped to bring it to life when we were able to see and stay at the place where it all happened. We stayed for several nights as my husband was hunting in nearby areas. The food was home cooked and excellent and the staff and family felt like friends to us. I went for a great horseback ride with a sweet proficient wrangler and saw some amazing views and Native American teepee rings. There were lots of beautiful well cared for horses. It was a memorable experience for us and we are so glad we stayed there. Thank you so much for your hospitality Kirsten and family.

  We can't wait to stay here again!

  What a great trip! We stayed at the TA Guest Ranch for the first few nights of our trip to Wyoming. My daughter loves riding horses, and I was looking for somewhere to relax for a couple days. This place was perfect! The owners and staff are amazing and make you feel at home. The rooms were clean and well decorated. Each room seems to have its own character and personality (hand made soaps in the bathroom!). My daughter went on a 2+ hour horseback ride and loved the ladies that she rode with, along with the horse. My favorite part was sitting on the porch, enjoying the peace and quiet, and having one of the ranch dogs come over and lay down at my feet. It truly make you feel relaxed and at home. The meals in the restaurant were second to none. Although it is hard to decide which dish was our favorite, I think it has to be the apple cobbler with home made vanilla ice cream. Thank you for a great stay, and we hope to be back soon! For those looking to get some work done, there are areas to get some work done and wifi on the property, although we did not use this.

  Savor your time at the TA Guest Ranch

  We had a great week at the TA Guest Ranch near Buffalo, Wyoming! We loved relaxing by the creek or on the porch or talking to the awesome, friendly staff. Riding the horses was a lot of fun and taking a ride on the wagon while hearing about the history of the ranch was fascinating. You actually feel like youve gone back in time with the antique furniture and decor. The weather was perfect and cooled off nicely at night. It was a nice get away for all, from kids to our elderly parents. But the most amazing part of staying at the TA Guest Ranch was the gourmet food! Every dish from scallops to steak to lamb had amazing sides that made you want to slow down and enjoy each flavor. This is not your typical ranch type food. It far surpasses chuck wagon grub. Just thinking about the food makes my mouth start to water. The restaurant is open for overnight guests, but also others that find themselves in the area. I cant wait for our next trip to the TA Guest Ranch!

  Wish we stayed longer!

  It really is in the middle of nowhere but the trip is so worth it. Let me start with the food, I cannot recall last time everything tasted so sweet. We had the scallops and the buffalo ribs. The owner was amazing, she took our kids to see the chickens and was really patient with their 1001 questions about the farm, dogs, horses.....The girls were in love with Molly the dog, and let me tell you Molly was almost too calm to be real. We got an amazing tour of the historic barn shootout which was included and free. Then the best part is at night as the whole world stops and there is nothing but the Wyoming sunset and a gentle breeze to wash all the stress away.
