  Great place to stay

  I would give everything about the hotel the thumbs up except for the new Tepanyaki Restaurant. Found that it was way overpriced and the portions were tiny.

  Wonderful Retreat

  I spent one night here on a recent trip to Shanghai. This is a brand new hotel with five star features. The room was wonderful with a great bed, modern shower (two shower heads to choose from), and great view of the lake and bridges. The room was extremely comfortable and had all of the usual amenities. The television had a selection of good English channels (several movie channels). The breakfast buffet was quite good with the usual combination of Chinese and Western items. Overall - and very nice place to spend a night or two.I would like to return with my family.

  it was a good 2 hour drive from Pudong airport , seemed we are the only people in the hotel for the 3 days we spent there . the rooms are spacious and the bay windows in the bathroom provide a stunning view of the lake . the aircon needed attention as inspite of my best efforts never went below 26 C . The overall service was great with the staff eager to please inspite of their weak english skills . the hotel is in the middle of nowhere with the nearest town 30 minutes away best to visit if you need a quiet weekend away in solitude best view rooms are the ones overlooking the golf course

  Great location for a weekend trip

  This hotel is directly next to the Lake Taihu and next to a golf court. It is a beautiful spot, yet, you need a car to get around, or bike. It is a great spot for some biking tours or nearby hiking. The area is still developing, but partially really nice, yet you may have some construction noise. As for the hotel it is quite decent. I love the gym (great view of the lake) and the hot tub area is very nice as well. They offer spa and massage services as well in a nice environment and their staff is quite friendly. The Chinese restaurant is pricy and just so so. Best explore the villages or countryside surrounding for some good eats.

  Nice hotel for golf or business

  Stayed here for two nights for business and the hotel is very modern and has a nice outlook over the golf course. There are not many other amenities nearby but the breakfast is good as are the rooms and friendly staff.
