  Overall a good hotel,

  The hotel was very nice and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The quality of the room service food was okay but nothing spectacular. The added facilities with the gym and swimming pool were great but it got a little busy at times due to the fact that the public can also use them however this was not too much of a problem. They have a Haagen Dazs facility in the hotel which is also really nice if youre a fan of ice cream.

  Good business hotel, very good gym

  The Tempus has specious rooms , sleep quality is good as beds are comfortable, rooms clean, there are many good bars and restaurants near by , the hotel restaurant I didn´t try,, breakfast food was average and the room sometimes crowded. The gym on the other site of the street which you can use free of charge as hotel guest is excellent ! Very good equipment. They also have a very nice outdoor pool. So if you want a nice hotel reasonably priced in a prime location Tempus is a good choice. But don´t expect something spectacular , One thing working extremly good was the free WiFi , streaming possible without any problem

  My home away from home...sort of.

  I travel to Taiwan on average 2 weeks out of every month and the Tempus Hotel in Taichung has become my home away from home. Great staff--very helpful and friendly, great western breakfast options and many great dining spots within walking distance. I have tried others, but Tempus is my top choice.

  Superb hotel

  We stayed here for 1 night but we were impressed by the room. It was spacious and very modern! Our room has a bathtub ! My son enjoyed the bathtub in the morning. Breakfast was ok though we had to use the 2nd Floor over flow Extension.

  Stunning outdoor swimming pool and beautiful marble bathroom with convenient business trip location

  The hotel is probably one of the very few hotels in Taichung to have a stunning outdoor pool on the ground (rather than rooftop) right next to its adjacent gym building. Gym facilities and swimming pool are both high standards in terms of Taichung area. Bathrooms are fitted with precious Taiwanese dark green marble throughout. This type of local marble is said to have been sourced out completely and is considered to be very rare to be seen. This hotel must have been a posh establishment when it was first opened 20 years ago regardless it's looking slightly tired and unintended to upgrade. Overall, it's an excellent location and value for money closer to the more happening & posh area of Taichung city government and newly opened grand Taichung city theater and 7th phase city development planning, in which is a must see if you visit Taichung. With the best residential & commercial high raisers and a wonderful landscape park green stretch. Perfect for an evening stroll after dinner or if you are going to see a concert in this contemporary concert hall architecture.
