  Lovely countryside vacation for small and large groups!

  We went with my wifes family in June 2018. There were 45 of us. The workers were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure we all had a great time. The views were amazing, and the accommodations were comfortable and clean. The food was fantastic. I recommend eating on the premises as much as you can. We also did a pasta making class that was extremely fun. I couldnt recommend this place enough.

  Nice and friendly

  Really nice setting- very well kept and good food. Lucrezia is extremely nice and accommodating. The room are clean and the place is very well kept. The pool is clean as well. Great for the family with the animals around and plenty of games. The road can be tricky on the way there, but it is worth the time.

  Our Beautiful Wedding Venue

  We got married here in September 2018. As soon as we saw the place we fell in love. The planning of it went well with Letizia who was not only funny but also amazed us on the Big Day by ensuring it surpassed all our expectations. The staff were also wonderful with a special thanks to Marco for everything. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how kind and attentative the staff were. The food was a huge hit (especially the wild boar starter!). The accommodation and pool were perfect; clean and comfortable enough to suit all ages of our guests. I will try and get my photos sorted to follow in the coming few weeks. I would 100% recommend this place and hope to return one day.

  Nephew's Wedding

  Attended my Nephew's Wedding here last week. Most of the close family stayed for the week so great time to catch up with everyone. The venue is stunning, great food and service. Marco and his team were super hospitable and very accommodating. The actual wedding at the Castle was an incredibly moving experience in the most perfect of settings. Weather played along, music, food was brilliant. To Marco and your team, Guiliano, Carol and others - you surpassed yourselves, couldn't have been better. We have recommended you to friends whose daughter is getting married next year. Hope they contact you and that their 120 guests experience what we did. Cheers

  Forever Special - Our September Wedding

  Where to begin....we booked this venue for our Wedding, off the back of another review on this website - without visiting it as there was one weekend available and we were pushed for time! Well they say things are 'meant to be' and this venue certainly was for us. We are based in London but have African roots - we had family travelling from most continents and it was the perfect place for a rustic, relaxed reunion and then amazing marriage celebration at the end of our week on the property. The food was wonderful, the combo of self-catering or eating at the restaurant ideal. But what makes Forte Sorgnano is the people who manage and work there - they are SO welcoming and by the time the wedding day came we just knew they would do everything to make it wonderful - which it was. We filled the accommodation onsite and overflowed to Torre Burchio down the road which was perfect too. We enjoyed walks, runs etc along the peaceful roads, trips to the local towns and hanging out watching the most incredible sunsets every evening. We used the bbq areas, the pool, the kids loved the farm animals. We could go on and on about this as a holiday spot or a wedding, reunion, visit. Yes there is a long dirt road to get there but if you like wilderness, peace and quiet and family-like Italian food, wine and hospitality you can't go wrong. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Marco, Giuliano, Letizia, Lucrezia and Carol. We can't wait to visit again soon.
