Delightful stayWe were warmly welcomed by Veronica. Our room was pretty and very clean. Breakfast delicious and served by charming Abbie... we wish her good fortune with her studies in Brighton. Will be going back. Also very good value.

Celebrating special birthdayHad such a wonderful day, the staff couldnt do enough, the food was outstanding and there was so much. The team went the extra mile to make all the food my grandchildren liked and even went shopping for different soft drinks. Can highly recommend this hotel.

Wedding perfect stayStayed for the weekend, warm welcome on arrival, few spaces in car park, but plenty on road if spaces not available in hotel car park. Might not be important to everyone but door locks are multi t locks on all rooms so quite secure. Breakfast is very nice, selection is good with cooked breakfast and buffet, plenty on offer and staff are very welcoming and happy to help make changes to suit. Bees are very comfortable and showers are very, nice. Recommended stay A***

Bed and breakfast by the seaThis bed and breakfast is a stones throw from the sea, set in a quite wide avenue. Friendly meet and greet on arrival with Covid safety measures in place. I booked a twin room on the upper floor, which I got. The room had light flooding in and had been aired. Plenty of space with a large shower, with plenty of power, hot water and large fluffy towels. Lighting in room was excellent. Stairs or a lift took you to the upper floor, so great with people with disabilities. Parking for us was available but I should imagine it's limited in full season. There is however lists of parking on the street. I personally found the bed in my room far too soft, but my husband loved it. Clean, crisp linen, creaking floor boards, but then it is an old house. I had two issues while staying her. The first was the WIFI. Once I got connected with the help of the owner. It did not stay that way. Reception in our room was nothing just a lot of buffing. As soon I went to the top of the stairs, down to reception or the lounge it was back again. Secondly the size of our table for breakfast was too small. It was already set out on our arrival to the room and it was difficult to ask to be moved, especially with others in the room. That said everything was freshly cooked with the addition of vegetarian, yoghurt and cereal. Pots of coffee would have saved the stuff going backwards and forwards to the kitchen. Overall a pleasant stay, close to beach and places to eat.

Perfect!I stayed at the Aldwick for the last few days and I have to say it's one of the very Best and most welcoming stays I've Ever had. From the moment I arrived I was made welcome from the owners. The Rooms are Fantastic, Breakfast was Perfect Every morning and with a delightful bar area it was a delight to stay here. I can Recommend anyone to stay at the Aldwick and you won't find better Anywhere. (and trust me I've stayed in 100s for my business trips). If I could Rate it 6 star I would. Hopefully I will be in the area again and I will Definitely return.

Shops and choice of pubs. Easy walk into bognor. Easy drive to Chichester and lots of interesting places to visit.

A lovely place to stay!I stayed with my friend and we had two rooms which were lovely, quiet and located on the first floor. We had booked afternoon tea on arrival which wasnt a disappointment - freshly made sandwiches cakes and scones with plenty of tea. We sat in the lounge later in the evening and all in all we were made to feel very welcome by the owner. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. We will return!

Great breakfast and comfortable roomsWe booked two twin rooms - our room 5 was good positioned on the front. Road wasn't too noisy even with the windows opened. Second bedroom was a double bed and single bed which seemed more of a put up bed. Not ideal for our 36 year old son. We had a brilliant selection of teas and coffee including decaf and biscuits with tea making facilities. Bottles of water in the room. Everything nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent - lovely pots of fresh fruit including strawberries and yogurts, cooked breakfast choices included Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale and vegetarian/vegan options. Toast with marmalade, honey and jam. Fresh coffee, tea and juice too.

Stay ruined by extremely rude staff memberI travelled on my own for work. On arrival everything seemed fine - nice welcome from the lady who checked me in. When I got to my room I couldnt work out how to lock my door from the inside. There was also no WiFi code in the room so I went downstairs to see if the receptionist could help me. An older man was now on reception and he couldnt have been any ruder to me if he tried. After having the plastic wifi code lazily chucked towards me I asked him how to lock my room. He said well no ones going to come in are they?! I replied explaining that as a woman staying on my own Id like to make sure my door was locked from the inside. To which he rolled his eyes and pulled a face. I was so shocked by this I demanded an apology from him for being so rude to me, which he eventually reluctantly gave whilst sat in an armchair looking at his phone. Clearly this man is in the wrong industry as I cannot stress enough as to how unpleasant he was. This tarnished my stay totally and as you can probably guess from my review, I wont be returning.
