    Clean, spacious, quiet and in a perfect location

    If you are looking for a great location close to the Main Street and handy to many attractions with hosts that go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect, then look no further. The Dawson Motels are spotless. Our room was spacious and included a spa to relax in after a busy day. Bikes are available to use so we biked to the Te Rewa Rewa Bridge along the seaside track which runs close to the motels. We can thoroughly recommend. Thank you Warren and Carol

    Perfect location, excellent hosts

    Really close to city centre, short walk to coastal walkway. Exceptionally clean rooms, very comfortable. Hosts very nice and knowledgeable. Great to have bikes available to use. Definately stay again.

    Central clean & friendly staff

    Central - easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, Govett-Brewster Gallery. One block back from the waterfront. Quiet location. Breakfast available but we didnt try it, menu looked good and reasonably priced. Great that there were no strong smells from cleaning/deodorizing products that are overpowering in some commercial accommodation. Just smelled clean and fresh.

    That we keep coming back here is the biggest recommendation we can give.

    We go to New Plymouth every 4 years or so and our last 3 visits we have stayed at the Dawson and wouldn't consider anywhere else why. It is centrally located easy walk to bars, restaurants, seaside, shopping, attractions. Clean we have stayed in many motels and my wife is always impressed with the cleaning and the staff who do it. Courtesy bikes with a great ride along the waterfront. Always friendly helpful service. We look forward to our next stay.

    Great Motel

    The Dawson Motel is in a great location close to the City Centre. The rooms are modern, clean and tidy. There is plenty of parking and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
