  Excelente opcion para Eau Claire

  Recomiendo este hotel, esta recién inaugurado, con una decoración muy agradable y con una muy buena ubicación, la comida de primera calidad y el servicio estupendo. Sobre la misma calle se tiene una variedad de restaurantes y bares.

  Excelente ubicación

  Estuve el año pasado en una visita por Eau Claire... fue el el lugar de mi llegada despues de un largo viaje desde Nicaragua, así que tuve una habitación cómoda y amplia con todo lo que necesitaba para estar relajado y además en el centro de la ciudad. Pudieron atenderme en mi idioma español y eso fue de mucha ayuda!

  My organization was searching for hotels in Western Wisconsin and the Twin Cities areas. We ended up canceling our Twin Cities event because we couldnt get a sales department to return our calls or emails. It took 12 phone calls to reach a salesperson. This certainly didnt happen with Dustin at the Lismore Hotel in Eau Claire Wisconsin. He immediately returned my call, gave me estimates, created contracts, and administered effective and friendly service. Our event in Eau Claire was successful because we had the help of an effective and hospitable team at the Lismore. Thank you for answering our questions, asked and not asked. Were grateful for our collaboration. You earned our loyalty and were grateful. To everyone at the Lismore, THANK YOU. The next time youre looking for a place to hold your next meeting, event, or banquet, youll want to start your search with this hotel.

  Second time here-love it!

  We love this place, especially because it is so close to the river walking paths. Its clean, comfortable, safe and you get warm Chocolate chip walnut cookies! Parking is comped with a voucher and they offer free coffee at EC/DC. (Get one of their egg sandwiches-delicious.) Theyre following Covid safety precautions-masks, 6 ft. Reminders, sanitizer in lobby, and Hilton Clean Stay precautions. There was an unsealed sticker on our door to show no one had been in the room after it had been cleaned. It is located in the heart of downtown Eau Claire and very walkable. Highly recommend.

  Nice hotel but ....

  This is a nice hotel. Clean, attractive, good service, price and location. Normally I'd give this hotel a 4/5. So why the low score? My wife and I came for an over- night. We really needed to get out of the Twin Cities for a long-overdue break and had never visited Eau Claire. We picked the Lismore based on the Tripadvisor reviews. The first inkling of trouble came when we checked in. We had requested a quiet room on the top floor. We reiterated that request again as we checked in. The courteous young man helping us informed us that the top floor was booked solid for a wedding party but we could stay on the 7th. Since we could see the wedding guests arriving as we checked in at 3:30 we were apprehensive about being underneath a packed floor where late-night festivities could be taking place. The young man then offered to put us on the 5th floor but added that this was also filled with wedding guests. We asked if there was any other place. He then indicated that he had found a quiet room on the 3rd floor. Great, we thought and proceeded to check in. Exhausted from a very early morning, a long day at work, and a challenging drive we went to bed early. We were woken up at 8:30 by the sound of loud laughing, discussion, revelry, etc. After realizing that it wouldn't end we looked out (bleary eyed) to see people gathered at an outdoor hotel patio. This patio was situated two floors below us, a couple of rooms down. We called down to the front desk to ask that they ask those individuals to be quiet. We were then informed that they could not since this was part of a scheduled event and would last until 10:30. We asked to speak to the manager but were initially told that the manager was unavailable. When we then demanded to speak to the manager she then came on the phone. She said that she was sorry that we had an 'issue' with our room and offered to let us move to a different room away from the noise. Great. We're in our pajamas, exhausted with our belongings out of our suitcase. We had enough, declined and decided to drive back to the Twin Cities. Part of this was the frustration of wondering why they didn't put us in the quiet room in the first place. As we walked down the 3rd floor hallway we noticed that none of the rooms on the other side of the hallway (away from the patio) were being used. We wondered why they didn't put us in one of these rooms in the first place? Possibly because unused rooms in the hotel have been kept closed because of the pandemic? Regardless, this has been one of the worst experiences in a hotel that we have ever had. The attitude of the evening manager could be best described as unsympathetic and insensitive ("We did everything we could to find a quiet room for you!"). Then, as a Hilton member, one would have expected some sort of follow-up communication from management, apologizing and offering to redress. Nope. Nothing. They did cancel our charge, but that was small compensation for a holiday weekend ruined. However, this was a valuable learning moment. Never book a weekend stay in a hotel that depends on event revenue during a pandemic.
