  Nice Sunday Lunch

  Good Sunday Lunch Buffet. Live music with it. Golf Course and Golf Pro Shop on Estate. Also a Clubhouse and Spa. Rooms situated in a garden. Private and clean. Nice old Manor house. Book in advance to avoid dissapointment.

  Excellent location

  We didn't stay at the hotel preferring to rent a house on the golf course as we were going to be there for two weeks. However we loved the hotels restaurant where the food was delicious and at a reasonable price. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, our waitress Sandi deserves a special mention. The golf course and surrounding areas were kept to a very high standard and the pro shop was fully stocked. Would we stay there again? Most definitely!

  Peaceful break

  It was a peaceful break and the food was great. Due to corona we could not swim in the pool. DSTV channels are way to limited. The rooms did not have a directory or any info as the other first group hotels we been to. Staff were helpful and the hygiene was great.

  A beautiful location

  We had 2 nights accommodation at this location. The room was adequate and the bathroom clean but had some broken fixtures. The wifi did not work. There had been some storm damage pushing sand onto pathways and the ponds were grubby. Fortunately, the pool was a sparkling haven. The golf course was pristine but practice greens need weeding. There are no waiters at the pool area, so we were required to go to the bar to order lunch, which you must collect from dining room. However, the bill for food was delivered pool side, why not bring the food and bill at the same time.??The restaurant was a disgrace and the service appalling. The food served is of a take away menu type. Our Dinner was eventually paid for by the General Manager. Thereafter we ate out at other restaurants in the surrounding area. The SPA was good albeit a little expensive. In conclusion, COVID aside, this grand hotel really needs to up its game to prevent further damage to its reputation.
