    Truly Outstanding!

    Having stayed @ the Shanhaitian, which was recommended to me by a friend previously staying there, proved to be the perfect decision. We booked a suite with 270 degree views over Yalong Bay. The room was most spacious with a beautiful living room area, the bedroom with super comfortable king size bed looking over the balcony towards the ocean and the bathroom had a gigantic round tub. Breakfast was sumptuous with super engaged and friendly staff, which remembered my coffee preferences by the 2nd day. Had two times the hotpot sea food dinner which was so fresh and delicious and Chefs coming for table side preparations of Foie Gras and Creme Brûlée. We rented a convertible to explore the Island a bit, visiting Monkey Island, the humongous Duty Free Shopping Mall, The Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park and also the Atlantis water park. Each activity really worth a visit. Back in the hotel we frequently enjoyed the infinity pool and the poolside bar. It was a haven of tranquility there to relax and enjoy the view while reading my books. Will definitely plan to return soon! Overall a super memorable and most relaxing stay.     SHAMELESS

    My Friend had booked a ocean view suite for 2 nights yesterday. She got there at 1 PM. She was told that the room was not ready and she would have to wait a little. She got given the room key at 4:30 PM! She was not given any compensation of any kind for such a delay. Saying SORRY is not enough! It's a five star hotel!! At least offer some voucher or some sort of compensation!!! You guys at Autograph (Marriott group) really suck badly! I'll never have anyone book that place again.

    I wanted to thank the Shanhaitian Resort for a lovely stay. Everyone was very very friendly and made us feel at home. This was our first stay and quickly we felt as though it was a regular hotel. We have tried many of the hotels in the area but coming back to this one for sure. Well done Hotel team for a great hospitality culture.

    Everything is perfect!

    We stayed there for 3nights at the 12th floor, 180degree view room, really amazing view up there. We would like to thank you so much for all the staff, everyone is so professional, polite and always helpful, every single one.The hotel is super clean, modern style and well equipped. Swimming pools are very good. The Hotel location is just great, walking distance to DaDongHai beach. Once again Thank you very much again to everyone and we will definitely be back to stay here again.

    worn and not recomend

    The bed is worn down, the washstand full of water-logging and the glass is so dirty. Not firendly sevice make all things more confesion.Whats the meaning of luxury collection . As for a elite member of Marriott, what I want to say is that the room only worth $60-100 , over $100 it is not recommend.(p.s :there will be noise around cause the construction and maybe some devices also will not available (such as tel).
