  Disappointing visit

  Room was small and rather dull. Sliding door to en suite had broken rail and made opening/closing very stiff and noisy. TV did not work but this was quickly put right. Restarant was closed for the week which was a disappointment. Bar food was OK but not the service we were hoping for. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

  Wonderful Stay as usual

  This was our second time staying here and it was just as special as the first time. Lorraine and Mark, who run the show are amazing. We enjoyed many evenings chatting with them on the patio and they were always very attentive to making sure were comfortable and went above and beyond in every way. I just can't say enough good things about them. Great people and we will go out of our way to stay at The Shubbery again. Thank you Scott and Judy from America.

  Defo stay again!

  Our room was spacious and well equipped with drinks. Very friendly lady greeted us and breakfast staff were friendly and efficient. We had a great night's sleep and parking space as advertised. We used hotel as a base to see Glastonbury, Wells and Wookey. Definately stay again. Loved the vibe of the place also.

  Extremely welcoming

  Lorraine and mark made it feel like a home away from home, the family room was was spacious and the hot chocolate and snacks were topped up daily much to the kids delight. Nothing was too much hassle and the next time to visit this part of the country Ill be sure to book back in here.

  Short Break

  Stayed here for one night prior to the Royal Bath Antique Fair. Lovely stay, good food and walking distance to the town centre shops, pubs and restaurants. Nice garden for outside drinks and free parking at the front of the property.
