    Try somewhere else!!

    Although staff were very friendly and helpful found that comments reference dirty carpets, shower temperature and curtains etc. Made by previous reviewers had not been actioned at all. Very expensive for what it was.

    Overpriced and grotty

    Ridiculously overpriced for what you get. Seriously grotty and dated rooms. Hand painted furniture that looked like Stevie Wonder had done it. Stained carpets, loose bathroom tap. Two small tubes of conditioner provided - yeah thanks for that, most helpful. We stayed in a room called the Hilton. How witty...not! Breakfast in the morning was good. That was the only positive I can think of. My advice would be to avoid at all costs.

    Friendly and comfortable.

    Happy to recommend here. Staff were friendly and our room on the first floor was comfortable and quiet even on a busy Saturday night. Although the furniture and fittings are a little tired the shower was good and we were provided with everything we needed. Everything was clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast, served with a smile! Parking could be a problem, but the bar Staff suggested a space adjacent to the Pub, so it was not an issue for us. Would stay again on a return trip to Dorchester as it is only a five minute walk from the main town.

    Mixed bag

    We stayed here as we were attending a wedding locally, the room is pretty basic tea and coffee facilities but the shower was hotter than the sun and the only way we could use it was to turn the hot water tap on on the sink, the rooms dont have air con and were very warm, the staff gave us a desktop fan for the room which helped, breakfast was very nice. The bar downstairs is really nice and worth a visit. Overall its not bad but Id say its very pricey for the condition of the rooms.

    Very tired

    Its an 8 minute easy walk to the town centre which is good. However, its very, very tired and is desperately in need of a refresh - the carpet had definitely seen better days, torn bed divan, no mirror in the bathroom, towels devoid of any form of fluff...It seemed fairly clean though. I wouldnt say to avoid the place, just be aware of what youre letting yourself in for.....
