  Motel poorly maintained and cost to high

  I arrived in La Pine tired and needed rest, Timbercrest Inn was right on Hiway 97. Stopped in, rented a room for one night. Room was spartan but adequate for sleep. Dirt accumulation in corners and bathroom around tub. A/C worked; which was welcome as temp. was very high. I did not ask for a price as normal cost is around $60 or $70 a night in most motels. Timbercrest Inn charged $130.00 for one night. This featureless motel is not worth the expense. I will file a report with the Oregon state better business bureau.

  DON'T STOP HERE! MAJOR RIPOFF!

  The Timbercrest Inn was extremely overpriced! I was charged $136 US for a $35 room. It was late at night, I was very tired and was in need of some rest after a long drive. There did not seem to be any other motels in the area. The room was in sorry need of updating. The floors were old, the walls needed painting, and the furniture was very out dated. Further the $136 included a large beetle I found crawling across the bathroom floor in the morning. You will not be happy staying at this very overpriced flop house! Stay away!

  Horrible place!!!

  Clerk wrote 89.00 on slip, then scribbled it Off and wrote 140. Somehow for 2 nights it was going to be $336!!! And said the price will be $20 cheaper on Sunday. No microwave, no coffee machine.. refrigerator made a squeaky noise that sounded like a rat whenever it turned on , and because the second door was missing on the adjoining room you could hear all the conversation that was going on.. including their alarm clock going off at 5:45 in the morning!!! she also said no pets but on the counter it said $30 pet fee.. asked why they were not honoring the internet price of 80. She made some excuse which I did not understand, made no sense. It was late at night we were exhausted we did not want to travel back to bend to look for a Motel 6... I asked my son, want to go there? and she said you'll never find anything cheaper than us... Really? at $140 a night nothing cheaper than that??? We had no choice we stayed cuz we were too tired to travel any further... I do not recommend this place, I will never stay there again, ever!! Horrible.

  price gouging

  we were traveling by motorcycle and were tired and running out of daylight when this was only motel we saw (not knowing area or having no cell service at time). When we walked in the manager/owner knew my husband was beat and told us she only had 1 room left and no nearby places had rooms. She charged us $206.32! (including tax). Room was shabby, old tube style TV that had a crap picture, wifi didn't work (actually didn't even give us that information). And found bug in bed in morning! The next day when we had cell service found that room should have been $130 and that would still have been overcharge!!!!! And she lied about only having 1 room left because her vacancy sign was on ALL night.

  Doubled our bill

  We stayed there our last night before we moved out of state because they took dogs and had adequate parking for our U hauls. Thats the best thing I can say for the stay. The room was dreary and in need of updating, and because there were 4 adults, they doubled the price we were quoted. Whats the point of having two beds in a room if you are not allowed to use the second one? I would warn travelers to spend their lodging money elsewhere. They charged us $195.26 for an extremely sub-par room.
