  i found this place on expedia and the price was right for a no frills motel. the manager vassu was very friendly and welcoming. and the room was very clean and had complimentary soaps and shampoos with a fridge and microwave. the bed was super comfortable. and the sheets smelled nice and clean. thank you vassu for your wonderful hospitality. i will put your inn on my list of places to stay. sincerly from your canadian friends ian and jess.

  Helpful staff, super-clean room, I'd stay here again

  The Travel Inn is conveniently located within walking distance of the centre of town (or you can drive, which most people seem to do). My room had a brand new bathroom which was lovely, and both the bathroom and bedroom were impeccably clean. It was the cleanest hotel I stayed in on my trip. The staff were really helpful in making suggestions on things to do while in Redding, and where to eat and drink, and made the effort to come up with ideas that matched my preferences. For example, since I'd had a long drive to reach Redding, they suggestions some options that did not involve long drives. I only have one suggestion: my room was on the second (top) floor and in summer it was very hot. However, the air conditioner was quite noisy, so it difficult to sleep - cool with noise, or hot and quiet. The hotel could potentially consider turning on the air conditioner in rooms where guests were expecting (before the guest arrived), which I think would keep the room cool enough overnight without the air conditioner. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would choose this hotel again if I was in Redding.

  Great Staff. Clean Rooms

  First and fore most, the staff here is awesome. The rooms while small, are clean and have the basic necessities. The furniture in the room needs to be reviewed, the chair that I had was broken. The bathroom fixtures, were loose in the wall and plaster like material fell into the tub while I was showering, and scaled up from the extremely hard water in Redding. Parking is cramped and if you are lucky enough to get a space in front of your room its best to stay there, or you could find yourself parking toward the street in a not so great area of Redding, and risk of a break in. If you can, get a room on the second floor. The noise from the rooms and walk way above may cost you some sleep. But from what I mentioned earlier, and one of the 2 door keys that I had functioned intermittently. Not a bad stay at $140 a night. But it is what it is.

  Great accommodation and awesome staff!

  Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again in the future. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owners are wonderful people. Extremely convenient location and great price.
