  What an amazing place!!

  Well... Where do I start! This place is absolutely stunning, it's in such an amazing location. There is only 4 lodges on site so therefore it's nice and peaceful and the staff are very attentive. We were picked up from the airport by the ursula's mini bus service, the driver was really welcoming and friendly. When we arrived we thought we were dreaming, the place is stunning. We got settled into our lodge (Elephant Lodge) which was lovely. We have booked breakfast and evening meal. We sat down and ordered our food, there was so much choice. The young girl that waited on us was so pleasant and well mannered. The food was beautiful, every meal was cooked to perfection and with such good care and attention to detail. That night we heard a noise coming from the watering hole we walked to the fence and you could see a sillouette of an elephant drinking from the water hole. It was such an amazing sight. There is a little camp fire that is always lit at night, which we sat at after our meals with a glass of wine... Was bliss!! Olivia is the face of Urusals Homestead, she deserves a medal. She made sure that we were always happy, she arranged transport for us, gave us so many tips and ideas. I felt so safe in her company. We had a spare half day and Olivia booked a game drive for us, it was incredible! We saw a black rhino and it's tiny baby, the driver was amazing and really knowledgeable. We had a few trips while we were staying here, the drivers took us directly to the venues and made sure we were safe and picked us up at the end of the night. When we crossed over the boarder to Zimbabwe the ursula's driver took us to the bridge and showed us what to do and got a taxi for us, this Was such a big help as its quite over whelming when you arrive here. He didn't realise how much he helped us. Thankyou so much to Olivia and the staff at Urusals! You all do an amazing job and such a credit to the place!! Would love to return in the future!! We visited 10 different hotels during our holiday and this was my favourite out of them all. I would love to visit

  Beautiful lodge

  My husband and I stayed at Ursulas Homestead for four nights during our holiday in Victoria Falls. Everything surpassed our expectations. We were greeted upon arrival by seeing several zebras at the watering hole outside the lodge. There was a never ending stream of wild life to be seen from sitting outside in the beautiful landscape. The rooms were comfortable and quaint and had everything we needed and more! The food was amazing and they were able to cater to my multiple food allergies. And to top of it all off the staff was absolutely incredible. Every single person we interacted with was kind and friendly and hospitable in every way possible. We always had someone to greet us when we arrived back at the camp and always had someone to walk us out. Olivia the manager went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and Freedom was perhaps the best waiter we have ever had. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay where the people are genuine and will get to know you look no farther!!

  Visit to Victoria falls

  Ursula homestead was the most perfect start to our trip. The minute we set foot into this unique haven we felt relaxed. There are 4 lodges overlooking the Stanley and Livingstone game reserve. We were looked after by a small team of the friendliest most helpful people you could wish to meet. Nothing was too much trouble. The lodges were clean, comfortable and surprisingly had Uk plug sockets. The food was excellent. The ladies looking after us organised our trips, transfers etc and were amazing. There was a courtesy mini bus to take you wherever you wanted to go in the area and would pick you up too. We would highly recommend Ursula homestead for anyone visiting Victoria falls with an added bonus of seeing impala, baboons, buffalo and other animals practically on your door step. Its a fabulous place.

  Buen precio

  Pues para lo que ofrecen , es ok. El equipo de trabajo trata de que estés lo mejor posible en sus instalaciones, aunque tiene poca memoria cuando les pides alguna cosas, todo es ok. La habitación la encontré un poco pequeña, el baño ok aunque deberían aislarlo todo mejor me encontré alguna que otro insecto en el baño. Desayunos, comida y cenas, poco variado pero solamente con ver el placer de como te sirven, nos basto. No repetiría, pero desde luego no puedo decir nada malo de este Lodge.

  Serenity with a view!

  My husband and I recently stayed at Ursula's for 6 nights and loved every minute of it. Located on the Stanley Livingstone Private Game Reserve, we were treated time and time again (especially in late afternoon) with a panoply of wildlife. One evening while dining outside, we heard a noise and quickly saw a herd of approximately 80-100 water buffalo meandering our way (don't worry, Ursula's is situated about 4-5 feet above the reserve and only baboons find their way on the property). It was such a quiet, peaceful paradise. Each bungalow is quaint and well-appointed, the meals are delicious and the best part is the staff. Attentive and friendly, they go out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Lorraine, especially, was amazing in attending to every detail including reserving transportation to various sites off the reserve. Most of the transportation was via a free shuttle ~ we couldn't have been more pleased with every aspect of our stay.
