  A bit tired

  The bathroom plumbing was poor . Turning taps to full on to get a low pressure of water . The toilet seat was poorly fitted and the shower water was only ever warm and in a small recess even I at 5ft 2 found it a squeeze. In the bedroom beautiful views overlooking the sea. Large room The Solent. However repairs looked botched up and large brown water stains with ripped ceiling paper looked unpleasant.Outside areas ash trays full off old fag ends that were full of water yuk! Locks in doors a challenge and I caught my fingers on the catches . Breakfast was good . Staff very friendly . Ok place to stay but not worth paying £140 per night . They were winners of 4 in a bed a few years ago . If I was I paying now Id pay £85 tops .

  A fantastic, friendly and clean B&B

  I stay here whenever I can; Sylv and Alan are fantastic hosts, it feels like home from home, but with a more comfortable bed and someone else cooking a brilliant breakfast! I love the little honesty bar and all the rooms that either I have stayed in or my family have, have been spotless, a really nice size and very comfortable beds!

  A fantastic place to stay

  We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely B&B on the cliff tops at Barton on sea. Fantastic location, fabulous cooked breakfast, lovely clean room with good views of the Isle of Wight. An amazing team look after looked after us and made or stay a memorable short break.   Short break

  This Bed and Breakfast was beautifully situated overlooking the sea, with easy walking along the cliffs of Barton on sea. Very welcoming and comfortable, with spacious areas to relax inside and out. The breakfasts were excellent and freshly cooked to order.

  Very good guest house good accommodation very good English Breakfast staff very friendly and helpful the owners Sylvia and Alan made you feel very welcome as if you were at home.The bedrooms were very comfortable and had a fridge for your personal use
