  Deceiving

  Our accommodations were very nice and renovated. Heres the bad part. Youre staying on a giant lake and unless you are lucky enough to have a balcony facing the water you never get to see it. Oh you get a glimpse driving in but thats it. There is no common area for the guest used to sit and enjoy looking at the lake. Not a deck, not a gazebo, not a chair. Dont stay at a place on a lake to never look at the lake. Even though the room was renovated and was nice I would never stay here again. Another thing I noticed was that the first floor gets to stare at a brick wall because its below grade. I wouldve lost my mind if they tried to stick us down there. Im just wondering who thinks that accommodation is OK for anybody. I hope youre a sound sleeper because the sound comes right through the walls from the other units and you can smell the food cooking which was really unpleasant first thing in the morning. They could also do a little maintenance and keep the spiders at bay and out of the elevators. They say theyre spending extra time cleaning for Covid but we had an inch of dust on the headboard of our bed.

  Second Great Stay

  This was our second stay at this hotel and things went smoothly right from check in. It was quick and the clerk treated us very well. He gave us an over view of the hotel and facilities and made us feel right at home. We booked a two room suite with a lake view and it was amazing. The rooms were recently renovated and they were clean and quiet. Hollister is about half way between Branson and Big Cedar Lodge so we got the best of both worlds without all the traffic in Branson or the cost of Big Cedar. I would suggest stocking up on groceries in Hollister before checking in.

  Very good resort but stayed in a lousy unit location and space.

  WE wish both RCI travel specialists and Westgate front desk were honest and truthful about the occupancy rate during the week we visited. We were allocated a unit with one BR on the basement floor facing the construction work in the adjacent building. The pollution and the noise were there throughout the day - every day. We noticed many empty units just in our Building 4.

  Home away from home

  Westgate Emerald Point is about a 30 minutes drive from my house. During this tiring time, I find it very refreshing to get away for a week. Check in was curbside. I guess its safer that way for everybody. It was also convenient for all concerned. After checking in, we parked the car and a concierge came out with our room keys and information for our stay. There was no midweek cleaning. If we need anything, we call 1234 and it will be done. We needed help with the TV and someone came in 20 minutes time. He was wearing a mask. In fact, everyone had masks on. We had a 2-bedroom unit. One room facing Tablerock Lake and the other, the car park. If you have a one room unit, then you depend on your luck, lake or car park. During the week we were invited to a review which is actually an attempt to sell you a timeshare. It wasnt a hard sell not like the old days. I traded my timeshare at Westgate Lake in Florida for Westgate Emerald Point. We are getting older and we do not wish to drive all the way to Florida. We will also eliminate the exchange fee now that we are owners. Instead of every year, we traded for every other year which means we skip a year in maintenance fees. As we get older, our priorities change and this, works out fine for us. For our gift we had a choice of either $75 in Draft restaurant coupons, $50 MasterCard or 2 tickets to a show. All in all, it was a great visit and I look forward to going back next year.

  Fantastic view and rooms

  This was our second stay at Westgate Branson Lakes. The view is unbelievable, the rooms large with a patio and everything is top of the line. The staff is friendly and amenities are excellent. I'm sure we will be going back.
