ALI KARADGLI general manager RUDE, ARROGANT, AGGRESSIVE
I have never wrote a review of an hotel before but after my experience at Wind of Lara I felt I needed to, has people need to know what to expect if they book this hotel. I only wish I had looked at the reviews before booking my holiday. On arriving at the hotel around 11pm we were shown up to our room which was not at all like the suite we had booked with hot tub. Has there was NO hot tub. We went down to restaurant for late dinner at which only one thing to choose from which was luke warm. There was supposed to be 3 a la carte restaurants & a coffee shop which we found out the next day were all closed except one was open 7-9pm on monday & friday. The rest were closed all the time we was there. The main restaurant for breakfast, lunch & dinner served the same luke warm food everyday. There was a bbq in the evening but unless you were Russian you did not get a chance to have the steak or langoustines. The staff would just laugh and say are you Russian!! So we ate out each night although we had paid for fully inclusive. The drinks were of very poor quality too so we brought our own from the shop instead. The daily cleaning of our room left a lot to be desired too. If you dared to complain to the manager ALI KARADGLI he would shout and threaten you. I witnessed other guests also being threatened by him if they complained to him. The only guests he was ok with were the Russians, he disliked the English especially women. Never meet anyone so rude and abusive. The pool was too cold to swim in too. The reception staff were very helpful I must say. They seemed to have to constantly apologise for the general manager and his attitude. My advice to anyone reading this is AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!!!!

Disappointed birthday holiday
I have pros and cons on this holiday. On one hand I was deliberately really nice to the staff and they were very nice back, as I'd been to Antalya before and felt that service was not their strong point! The room was fine, however the maids did not refill the little pot of essentials each time so I found myself calling the reception and asking for sanitary bags... He had no idea what I meant and so said he'd send a maid up, she never arrived until I saw someone at breakfast the next day. There are no English channels on the TV and it was very frustrating to find yet again that a hotel has nearly all staff unable to speak basic English and so how do they expect to give a 5* service when they can understand what we want? I learned basic Turkish words just so I wasn't left standing there with my questions unanswered. The hotel itself lacks any atmosphere at all unfortunately, and feels that its a non stop cycle because the guests all seem kind of miserable and stern faced too! Lots of Russians and the staff even seem to speak Russian but not English? We watched films on our phone at night due to having nothing to watch out of 100 channels. Hot food was very basic and I was very upset about this! We don't eat meat... And no one knows the word 'meat' so this was frustrating at times. Everything was luke warm, soup and bread was my main sustinence for the duration. Hot food was not a good standard for 5* personally, but I was impressed with the unlimited amount of fruit and desserts on offer all day long. The servers could smile more as if they're not being forced to work there by their parents or something! But they were helpful (one eventually recognised me as the vegetarian, see now THAT'S good service!) Unfortunately the drinks were awful, for somewhere all inclusive I have never avoided eating on holiday as much as I did there. The beach where the guests go to had access to food and drink which was great bur the dry croquettes and chips were just a No! The atmosphere at the beach good spot was a bit better, some work is needed to make guests feel appreciated at the hotel itself. The outdoor pool is far too cold to swim in and the constant same kind of pop music gets annoying after a while. Also to the woman leading the aqua-exercising... Stop blowing your whistle on every music beat!! It's so distracting to everyone else and the opposite of relaxing, you could see the entire outdoors annoyed even the ones in the water exercising! So as a whole I would not stay there again it is a very anti-climactic holiday for British person and I did not feel appreciated or wanted even. On another note I left my coat in the luggage room rushing for the transfers and I do wish to thank Erol & Lidia for being so kind as to arrange it being sent to my friend in Izmir (sending to UK wasn't an option) and keeping me informed on WhatsApp the whole time. I'm So grateful and it's the reason I don't completely have a bad memory of this hotel. Honestly the staff I think just need to engage more with guests and make us feel excited to be on holiday as usually coming to an all-inclusive means that IS the holiday! This let's the experience down massively.

Magic days!
This modern hotel has the only disadvantage that it is not located on the beach, the distance to the sea is 1 km, but considering October it was a real pleasure to walk. Regarding the current circumstances, social distance, wearing a mask, disinfectants were present. We thank the manager for the attention paid to the safety of the tourist. The services, the cleanliness, the food was good. No seafood was served but the fish was daily as well as all kinds of other dishes. Fruits and ice cream and delicious cakes. The indoor pool and gym do not work thanks to COVID.

Mucho gracias
Me quedé 5 días. El hotel está muy limpio, cómodo y seguro. El personal está muy preocupado. La comida es muy buena. Especialmente el director del hotel Ali Bey está muy interesado en los clientes. Lo disfrutamos mucho. Nos encantaría volver.

Miracle days!
Stayed 5 amazing days here. Nice and clean rooms, delicious foods and drinks. Staffs are always smiling, i was felt like at home. Special thanks to Ali, who is the otel manager. He did everything to make us feel happy. I definetely recommend you to stay here. Near to airport and city center.
