  Very nice hotel

  We stayed for 2 weeks. Although there was a pandemic and a medicane at the time, the staff ensured we had a great time. The food is what you expect from an all-in hotel, not great, but decent enough. Rooms were clean and neat. I would come back here.

  Absolutely Fabulous Stay !!!!

  We booked our holiday to stay in the Zante Sun Hotel from 5th Sept 2020 - 12 Sept 2020. The holiday from start to finish was the best experience we have had for a very very long time especially considering the current climate we are in with the pandemic. The greeting we had was very polite and our temperatures were checked as precautionary. This was explained for the safety of everyone. The hotel manager Thomas was the person that stood out for me. Right from the welcome through to our departure he was friendly, accommodating, engaging and most importantly concerned for everyone's welfare, customers and staff alike. The professionalism and work ethic shown by ALL members of staff in the hotel was second to none. I can't praise this hotel enough. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. Nothing was too great for them to handle and they did all this smiling and courteously. If we were skipping lunch to go on an excursion then a lunch box was made up for us on request which contained sandwiches, a bottle of water, fruit juice and cake as a dessert. I also noticed when staff members started their shift their temperature was also checked before starting work. The hotel cleanliness was impeccable and the attention to detail was meticulous. I watched over the balcony at dinner and noticed one member of staff cleaning the sun loungers down with sanitiser spray. She also then measured the distance between one sun lounger to the next to ensure they were at a safe distance. I was gobsmacked at the thoroughness of everyone in the hotel. The food was great with alot of variety and served behind a persex screen again to protect the staff and customers. Masks were worn by ALL members of staff all the time. The receptionists were absolutely great. They customer service was excellent all of the time. They welcomed us every day and asked how how how day was going. This was asked genuinely and not as routine practice. All the receptionists, Elena, Katerina, Claudia and Polina were equally as brilliant. The hotel is based a 5 minute walk from the beach. As you get to the bottom of the small incline leading to the beach there are two huts immediately infront of you selling excursions and boat trips. The hut on the left was the one were we booked our excursions from. The sales woman Renata was wonderful, full of knowledge and not pushy at all. We booked the pirate ship and the boat trip to Turtle Island. Both excursions were worth the money and the experience was magical. I've added a photo I took myself of a turtle in the sea on the excursion. The driver of the boat ensured we got enough time taking photographs close up without disturbing the turtle. The sea waters as you can see in the photos are crystal clear. If you wanted to book any excursions visit the hut on the right and ask for Renata. You won't be disappointed. Going back to the hotel there is a shop immediately infront and if you fancy a few drinks and some food then immediately to the right of the hotel there is a restaurant and one adjacent. In conclusion the hotel , staff , amenities and experience was faultless. This is a hotel you definitely want to stay in. Nothing will disappoint you. Thank you to ALL the staff once again.   An amazing last minute choice

  We had had 2 holidays and 1 flight cancelled this year and were desperate to get away to somewhere we could go according to Covid Rules. This Hotel came up and the reviews were good and the price was right. We had a fabulous two weeks in a hotel where cleaning and disinfecting was paramount. Sanitizer stations everywhere, you couldn't sit down unless it had been cleaned, sunbeds were measured for distance, so safe. The staff were brilliant, the Thomas twins and sis, 2 Sofia's, Babetta, Alexandra and Anna in the Skyfall Bar. Food was first class all served behind screens and you could keep going back. The Restaurant manager Thomas always helpful and Yanni General Manager always around to talk. 3 Main Pools and the rear Pool 30 seconds from the beach. A lot of returners from various countries, accommodation and room and bathroom standards were first class. We shall be going back again.

  Hotel very clean, staff very friendly, food fair , pool and sun loungers very clean. If you are going for the sun and pool and just to relax, then this hotel is ok, if you like walking and going to the beach , I would go some where else.

  Amazing hotel and location!

  Myself and my partner went to Zante last September and it was the best holiday weve ever been on (even beats Dominican Republic!). The hotel was amazing and so luxurious! The staff are so lovely and friendly, especially the pool bar lady and the restaurant manager. We went during covid and the hotel was so clean and sanitised. Our room was at the older part of the hotel but still was really modern. We had amazing sea view! Only annoying thing was the dog at one of the houses close by that would bark all night! The food is really nice and always a good selection. We ate out a couple of times just for something different and in a short 10 minute walk there was a really nice restaurant Syrtaki! The food there is out of this world, especially the Gyros. We didnt want to try anywhere else as the food was that good. I would definitely recommend going on a day trip to shipwreck beach and the blue caves. We booked this beforehand on trip advisor and the bus picked us up from the hotel. The beaches are something else there, the Crystal blue sea. Definitely hire a boat or even a peddle boat which you can do at the close by beach. Although youre close to the strip you wouldnt know it if you are there for a quiet holiday. Honestly the best holiday Ive ever had!
