  what a gem

  We first came across this hotel after a long trip to Morocco and living in the roof tent. Have been back many times since for our tours of Leper and the Commonwealth War Graves sites The owners will make you very very welcome.Breakfast and Evening Meals are superb and good value

  Fabulous stay. Truly lovely people

  We had a wonderful 2 day stay here. Very accommodating and fabulous food ! So much to do in the area. A very relaxing Hotel run by an extremely lovely couple who engaged well with their guests and made great recommendations to visit places in the area. Wonderful breakfasts !!

  Wow!

  What a staggeringly beautiful hotel! Its located in the very bucolic village of Izenberge-Alveringem. Majestic and beautiful from the outside, I had a quick Cola with a friend whilst he had a beer. He had stayed here the night and enjoyed his stay very much indeed. I was charmed by the venue - and the chat we had was informative and enjoyable. Lovely location! We then went on to Beauvoorde Kasteel to continue our chat.

  Lovely Hotel in a Rural Location with a Friendly Owner/Manager

  Lovely rural location with large rooms and a spacious dining area. The new owner/Manager is very friendly and helpful - Nothing is too much trouble Would recommend the Steaks Sat/TV needs updating WiFi excellent Bathrooms would benefit from re decoration

  Perfect

  We were apprehensive as we began our first business trip outside the UK during the covid 19 pandemic. We stayed for 2 nights which was perfect for our drive to Brussels and back to the hotel the next day. The owner was charming and made us very welcome. We felt relaxed and safe. We took delicious dinners and breakfasts in the large dining room which has wonderful views of the terrace and surrounding fields. The lovely owner arranged picnic lunches for us so we had less to worry about. This pretty and tranquil hotel is set in beautiful countryside and we highly recommend it.
