I would stay sgainA budget hotel we would be glad to recommend and stay at again. The staff are amazingly helpful, happy and friendly. They made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and had a comfy bed. The decor would benefit from a revamp, but I stayed there to experience and visit the area, not to sit in the room and study the decor. I would stay there again, with or without a paint job. After all, what hotel doesn't need a lick of paint here and there? There is a pool and free WiFi. It is only a short walk from Karnak Temple.

The worst of the worst hotelsIn short, don't be even tempted to book on this hotel, even if you are offered a free stay. Horrible, not suitable even for animals. Very dirty, smells horrible everywhere, broken and very dirty beds and bedding

3 nights at Karnak HotelMy childhood friend and I recently spent 3 nights at Karnak Hotel and were treated with much kindness and great hospitality. That is in my experience usually the case within Egyptian culture. The hotels location is great and the area is friendly. Recommendations from us both. Greetings from Denmark

Dirty, disgusting hovelThis hotel is disgusting. it says three star, I would class it as less than one star . We were only stopping one night for the hot air balloon trip 1st thing the next day arrange by our tour rep our standards are not high. We just wanted a bed and a shower after a long day Touring the monuments and Temples. Our first room we were put in had glass on the floor. The Aircon was leaking so the floor was soaking wet. Glitter all over the place. There were mosquitoes alive and dead everywhere . The bedding and towels were stained dirty and the towels were so small and they only gave us 1 between the two of us, we had to ask for more towel the fridge was not turned on and was dirty, so we went to reception and they changed our room and the second room was worst as the fridge was mouldy and made me heave when I wondered what the smell was and opened the fridge then the power went out and we were left in a sauna with no Communication from reception. We would NOT recommend this hotel.
