  No era lo que esperaba

  El personal no habla inglés, habia 2 que hablaban el resto habla arabe lo cual dificulta la comunicación. La pileta no se podia usar, tenia puesto un toldo no le daba el sol estaba fria y sucia. Y no estaba preparado el solarium. Solo habia mesas del restaurante xq estaban en reparación. Ante mi queja xq reserve buscando hotel con pileta, no me dieron respuesta ni nos compensaron con nada. La habitacion estaba en plano inclinado asi qye tuvimos que dormir del lado de los pies. Se escucha ruido constante del motor del barco. Las toallas se nota q son viejas. Y el restaurante te dan una carta que al momento de pedir no tenian casi ninguna opción y encima q solo hablaban arabe dificultaba todo. Lo unico bueno era el desayuno. No volveria ni lo recomendaria.

  Mal: De momento hemos quedado que nos buscaban al aeropuerto y no fue así, nunca aparecieron, la disculpa no fueron las correctas, "lo siento señores buenas noches" baños tendrían que mirar más la higiene. Las personas en recepción no hablan español. Bien: Las vistas del hotel al Nilo le compensa. El trato del personal de restaurante y el de recepción turno de tarde 11pm fueron los mejores

  Average hotel, poor customer service

  Please note that this hotel would not keep any rooms for you even after they confirm you that a room (or rooms) is reserved for you. They just look at the rooms available when you check in and assign one of the available rooms to you. They just dont care if the available room is not of the type you requested. We reserved two rooms for 3 nights and requested that they should be next to each other. The hotel staff acknowledged and sent me an email with confirmation numbers. This happened 4 months before our stay. But still, when we checked in, they gave us rooms in two different sections of the hotel. Essam (not sure how it is spelt) was at the front desk and he was extremely uncooperative. He was adamant that those were the only rooms available even though our reservation was confirmed 4 months in advance. He finally told us that he would give us two adjacent rooms the next day. But the next day, Essam did the same thing again. He reassigned rooms to us but in two different sections again. We argued with him again but it was of no use. This man would try strongly NOT to help customers. Fortunately for us, there was one more person at the front desk and he tried to help us. His name was Ahmed. After listening to our request, he found out that there were two adjacent rooms available on a different floor and he assigned them to us. Our request was finally accommodated. Our first positive experience at this hotel was with Ahmed. I had another weird experience at this hotel. I went to the restaurant on the roof top one day. Instead of directing me to a table, the waiter asked me, How can I help you?. I then asked him, Do you have vegetarian food? He replied, What is vegetarian food? I was stunned! He was a waiter at a restaurant and he didnt even know what vegetarian food was. This place is obviously run by weird guys. The only other positive experience was with the staff at the breakfast. They were all nice and friendly.

  Wanted to stay on the Nile whilst in Cairo but most of the 4 and 5 star places were not within our budget and found Nile View was.It was not too bad,very small rooms as you would expect as it is a retired cruise ship.The pool was terrific to have a dip in after a long hot day site seeing.The only problem we encountered was music from upstairs which went to the wee small hours.

  Marvelous Stay

  Who can imagine that this fine boat hotel is still not open!! I enjoyed very much my stay with German group of 20 who nearly cancelled their booking from Feb, 28 till Mar. 02, 2020 only because we discovered that this great boat relocated in Maddi and still not open. Instead, boat management was thoughtful enough to arrange for an A/C brand new shuttle bus dialy! First we thought this is only to & from the museum only. But we were mostly pleased to discover that this thoughtfulness extents to every where, any time and any numbers of time! Thoughtfulness is reflected in staff attitude as well! We and the owner are really lucky to have this staff who LOVE the boat, love their work and care soooooo much for customer satisfaction. I barely had the chance to order anything! They care enough to fullfil every need and any remark before you even say it!! Nile view Zamalek (now Maadi): you made me proud, you made all the guests happy, you gave us such a wonderful experience that I want really to thank each and every one of you. I can't believe how caring, clean and kind every one of you are! It's not just hospitality it's true kindness & care coming from professional people who received us befoooooore getting readying and finishing innovations! But they really made a "hard to please group" ; feel home. Can't thank you enough, we will sure be back to see you after renovations After special entrance gate is finished. After sundeck and covered pool are ready Food there is unforgettable! I had the most wonderful kabsa, the best hawawshy and an amaaaazing mixed grill. Breakfast buffet is memorable! Oh my God! What great bakery do they have!!! Best omlette in town! Tameya is fried before you. All kinds of hot drinks! Real fresh orange juice. Real care and morning smile. Even if you are in a hurry, they would notice and make you the best snacks to go! O my God after 2 days I'm still overwhelmed with your kindness people! I remember each and every name of you: Reception: Ahmed, Sheriff Mostafa & Adel. Room service: Refaat Food and beverage: Nabieh Omlette stand: Hamad (very caring) Chief at the kitchen is the best (not sure about the name) Even room cleaning: Maha Bill man. Security men who would help you park your car. Everyone .. I'm sorry I haven't met you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Can't wait till I'm back.
