  Restaurant Review, Stop off for lunch - cross country skiing

  Absolutely right next to the cross country skiing trail. Friendly welcome, very good service and tasty food. Large menu, though only a few 'light' choices for lunch. We had soup and drinks. Well priced.

  Perfect winter get-away

  We arrived to Seefeld train station and were picked up by the hotel van. Check in was fast and receptionist is very friendly. They organized our cross country ski rental and brought us to the rental shop in their van. The hotel doesn't take children so it is very quiet and relaxing. Rooms are clean, large, have sitting areas and balconies. Mattresses, pillows and blankets are very good. Food in the restaurant was excellent! Many choices and lots of vegetables and fruits. We arrived on December 24th and were able to enjoy their large and delicious Christmas dinner. The hotel is situated on cross country trail and you can explore flat or steep trails right from the back door. It's a very nice cross country skiing area. After skiing all morning we spent the afternoons in the spa. So relaxing! You can also sign up for their exercise classes or use the gym. The staff is very attentive and friendly. It is a family run operation and they do it superbly! we were the only English speaking family at the hotel and they made sure we have everything printed for us in English(like dinner menus,etc) We spent 5 nights in the hotel and wished we could stay longer. Our grown up children that traveled with us loved it as well and can't wait to go back.

  not good

  We went there Last Thursday expecting a change form home cooking in a rented apartment. The building is impressive, the staff charming, the dining area very pretty, traditional but... the food isnt worth the price. (21,90 euros each dish). We had "roasted" chamois ( meaning game) which had been boiled & completely tasteless, the red cabbage was ok, the white bread dumpling was just starch, had no taste. My husband had game as well cooked in the same manner. The brown gravy had no taste. What a shame to cook game in that way, it requires wine. Obviously the cooking standard doesnt match the look of the place. We made up that wasted money at NANNIS Seefeld with delicious & well priced cakes, a very popular place with welcoming staff.

  Perfect Winter spot, good facilities, good food and nice people

  Staying in the romantic room 308, a 2 floor room is a unique experience that is very much appreciated. Facilities are having all you need, swimming pool, sauna, dumbthbad, sports room, yoga etc... A garage can be asked for the stay to protect the car.

  Great hotel. Great Location, good food, bad WiFi

  Place is situated in very nice area, good service from the hosts and staff. I only wont recommend it to people like me who are mixing holiday with work or searching relaxation by using internet services like netflix or Spotify. In case you are in need for internet you should bring your own MiFi or hotspot as the hotel has recently upgrade his system and it suffers from childhood technical problems (good WiFi signal everywhere but no valid op, thus no internet). Has kost me about 50 extra euros for a short stay (buying 3g extra MBs from my provider) and its a pity that the owner couldnt fix it during my stay..(though he has tried). .
