  OK Place, Not 4 Star

  Not really bad place, about what We expected for the money, but if you expect a four star hotel you will be disappointed. Staff spoke little english but was nice and tried hard to please. Room was small and basic but clean and warm - the hallways, lobby, and restaurant were not heated! Internet was slow and spotty. Food was fair at best; eat elsewhere! Location right across the street from where you get the bus to the Mt but a bit of a hike to the main part of the village. Only a few close restaurant choices.

  Good location and helpful staff

  Rooms are good, heating and water arrangement is good.. ..hotel has a small store for food supplies, the restaurant and food........ although i didn't eat from there......, but it didn't seem to be anything special. The location its great just opposite to the bus transfer station of the mountain area. The hotel is recommended based on rooms ' the helpful staff and the location.

  Better options available

  We stayed two nights at this hotel in two rooms (a single and a double). I was fortunate having traveled with two Chinese people. Nobody spoke any English at reception or elsewhere in the hotel. When we arrived in the city, I learned through my companions that the hotel provided transpiration from the bus station, so we were picked up in about 10 minutes (a nice surprise). Following the advice of other customers who commented in the web, we did not use the restaurant except for breakfast (not included in the rate). The selection was extremely limited (carry your own instant coffee if you like to have it in the morning as well as a mug from your room since there are only ultra-thin plastic glasses available). There is no real heating in the room; you need to use the air conditioner to warm it up. At departure, the hotel people insisted in having us purchase the return bus tickets through them. They promised we would be taken by car to the station at a pre-arranged time. After waiting for 30 minutes, we were taken to the main street (about 50 m away) to take the bus. It was already filled up and we were lucky to find three seats in the very back of a worn out, dirty bus. One of us reported to the front desk an involuntary staining of a bed sheet. The person reporting this was asked to pay for a special laundry service but from the discussion we realized that they had not changed the sheets before we used our rooms and did not intend to do it after we departed. My room was not very clean, the carpets worn out and stained and there were two open shampoo envelopes in my bathroom. If you are thinking about staying here, re-consider. You will be better off elsewhere.

  Visit to huangshan- very beautiful, I never dream that I can reach there .

  Very nice hotel at the rate that they are charging RMB99 only. Counter service very good. Well arranged visit to huangshan hill. The tour guide was excellent. He see me from the begining up till back to hotel eventhough I was walking very slowly and need to rush back to hotel by 4.30pm to take a bus at 5pm to Hangzhou.

  Decent hotel

  Hotel is 5 mins walk from the shuttle bus to the Huangshan scenic area. It is rather old, carpet in lift and along corridor in need of shampooing. I booked a Deluxe Standard Room. General cleanliness is ok. Room size is reasonable, with clean bed and towels. Basic amenities are available - air con, toiletries, hot shower, TV, slippers, tea, hair dryer. Breakfast is Chinese style, limited buffet choices for 15rmb. I took the breakfast for 3 days for convenience and fill my stomach for the day. Overall, a decent hotel in this small town here.
