    Very Disappointing!

Having read previous reviews, which all looked good, I decided to book 1 night as I was attending a funeral of my cousins wife. This was quite local, and the venue looked attractive. John the owner was very welcoming, but then thats where it went downhill, and from bad to worse ! The outside rooms, are situated away from the main building, and are nice and clean BUT exceedingly cold, be warned if stopping in the winter. As the election was on, I spent most of the night watching that ( boring) and huddled up with 2 duvets to try and keep some heat in. Next morning I had a bath, no grab rail, and the cold tap was about to fall off ! Took ages to fill as well. The previous evening I spoke to John about breakfast, and was given the choice of 2 times : 8 or 9am , so I opted for just after 8 . Up and ready for breakfast as I hadnt eaten the night before, at 8:03 expecting to see life, but to no avail !! I must have waited in the cold for 20 mins. or more, sod it I gasped , went back to my room, grabbed my bags and posted the key back through the door. You can imagine, I was extremely annoyed and hungry. Never again, so youve been warned what to expect,!certainly in the winter. Sorry John, 2 stars, and youve made an extra £6 out of me, as the breakfast never was. Philip K.

Lovely cosy Bed and breakfast by the river.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights as a romantic break away. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to solo travellers, couples and families. This lovely independent b&b run by tony Is warm welcoming and has personality something much larger b&b's sadly lack. Breakfast is continental which suited us fine, cheese ham eggs toast, cereals jams, yogurts, orange juice, tea and coffee. The room was spotless, warm and oh such a comfortable bed, the hospitality tray was great and we had a fridge in the room !! an extremely quite fridge which was a bonus. There was a smart TV in our room, with Netflix and YouTube so snuggled down after dinner one wet and windy eve to watch a movie. We really enjoyed our stay at Bridge house in coltishall so close to Norwich, Wroxham and the broads. We will be back in the summer with the grand children and book a family room over looking the garden. Thank you Tony for your hospitality.

    Very disappointing

After reading the reviews we decided to book a nights stay here. The owner was friendly on check in but it all changed when you complain! Room ok but shower head was broken so had to hold the shower head to use. Next morning we get up for breakfast and there is no sign of anyone. When we finally find the owner we are informed they are not serving breakfast due to COVID which we understand but what we are not happy about is we were charged for it! £172 for a bed in this establishment is extortionate! He refused to refund us the cost of the breakfast and was very rude. The place is on the market and looks very run down and nothing like the pictures online. Would not recommend staying here at all.

    Overnight stay

I wanted to visit Norfolk but in a fairly quiet location, and we could take a little drive out to the seaside ! We stumbled upon this bnb in cortishall, Which was absolutely perfect ! We stayed in one of the chalets, just for the night, I wished we could of had another night ! Drove into a few little places which were all local lovely pubs, highly recommend this hidden little gem ! Well it was for us so Thanku

Didnt get to go due to covid but after numerous phone calls from owner glad I didnt go. Not LGBT friendly infact I'd say blatantly transphobic an very unprofessional in the manner in which they contacted and treated me over the phone..verging on criminal behaviour in regards a hate crime..steer clear if you fall into the LGBT category.
