  "The Worst Of The Worst"

  Horrible. No Ice Bucket in the room. when we check in look like someone had slept in our room they just made up the bed and rented the room again , shower wasn't clean . Room had Musky smell ,The carpet was so dirty looking like a auto mechanic had worked on a car and did several oil changes in this room, headboard fell off wall, As I write this review and think about this place it gives me the creeps.

  Maybe the filthiest hotel room I've ever seen, potentially a drug hotel. I took the room, then looked around at the filth and all the broken things in the room and checked out. Run as far away as you can!

  Pitch a tent

  Worst mistake ever. Toilet broken, Windows won t open, shower doesn't get hot, refrigerator and microwave totally dirty and grimy. Noisy neighborhood. Couldn't get out of there fast enough with the family !!!!

  Although this motel is older, it did provide a decent nights sleep.

  We rented two rooms, one king and one with two twins. Instead of picking out the few bad things I will instead talk about the good. Rooms are large, beds are clean, TV has several premium channels such as HBO and STARS. WiFi works well enough, Laundry facility has three washers and two dryers which also worked well. Vending machine for cold drinks, owners very friendly, Fridge/Microwave in each room, walking distance to several stores and fast food places, pet friendly, and finally it is in central Palatka with easy access to most of town. As a former Motel owner myself, I can tell they try hard to work with what they have...however a few small changes should be considered. Price is fair at $60 per night, but this should be the maximum amount charged for what is currently offered. Accepting locals is a tough one, usually a bad choice..however in a rural town sometimes it is a necessity in order to keep the bills paid. Renting to locals usually results in damage to the rooms and the surrounding property. Because I fully understand the hospitality business, I am rating it four stars. We would stay again if in the area.

  Good price, comfortable stay

  I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable and decent staying here was. I have nothing negative to write about the place. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, safe, and check in/ check out was simple. Thank you for a nice stay.
