    Walleska is GREAT!

    Walleska is my favorite receptionist of all the Choice family of hotels. She is always very helpful and cheerful. When I leave in the morning she really lifts my spirits for the long day ahead. This propertyused to be one of my favorites when theyoffered dinner M-F, but since they have discontinued dinner the property is a "ghost town". Oh well...I still look forward to Welleska's cheerful face and demeanor. She keeps me coming back.

    Park and fly

    I will never stay at a property owned by choice hotels because of my experience when I first booked through park and fly gr it said king room with 16 days of parking was 171 dollars we were staying at the end of our trip.when we arrived to check in after no shuttle was available,we were told it was 288 dollars not 177 even the young man at the front desk said something was wrong and said he needed a credit card to put on file and it wouldn't be charged yet but it was charged immediately so the next morning we went down to talk to the front desk the young lady at the front desk was rude and refused to help I asked for the manager and said I was going to report her she said go ahead rudely.when I called the manager a few days later it was the same thing she said you switched your room thats why it was more I told her they switched my room she said ill call you back when she did she said they over charged me 20 dollars I asked to talk to her boss she said she don't know when he will be in total run around and they refused to give me a receipt.The room was filthy and holes in wall and a cracked shower surround and they overcharge for this.There should be a way to reach all management i cant find a phone number anywhere.

    Worst stay of all traveling I have done

    We are diamond choice members but sure didn't feel like it. We had traveled to MI from Colorado due to a medical emergency with my brother. 1.Bait and switch tactics upon check in - I clearly had a reservation for a double room, handicapped accessible and upon arrival I am told they had me booked for a single. When I showed the reservation he said, "double can mean anything, like two sinks". I was in shock. His answer was to cancel my original reservation (which I had 10 minutes to do before I was charged) and they could get me in their LAST double room for over $150 more than my original reservation. I explained I could not afford that and he did some calculations and got it about $30 more than my original reservation. I went ahead and paid. Meanwhile many drunk and loud guests had come and gone and one stood in line behind me yelling at the front desk clerk saying he wanted to check in. 2. We went to the room and the door was open upon arrival, the room was filled with cigarette smoke, people's belongings were still in the room, the heater didn't work, fridge and microwave dirty and there were holes punched in the bathroom door. 3. We immediately went back to the front desk and they changed us to another room. Somewhat better condition but reeked of marijuana. We had no where else to go so we stayed. This delay caused us to miss an important medical appointment with my brother and added undue stress to an already awful situation. 4. We were staying 8 days and a few days in needed new towels, toilet paper and Kleenex. When we asked we were told housekeeping would bring them. They never did or because they leave them outside your door they kept getting stolen. When we asked for toilet paper and Kleenex, Jess just shrugged her shoulders and said I can't help you with that. We had to take tp from my brother's apartment. We finally were given one bath towel each only after multiple trips to the front desk. Our card keys kept deactivating and they were rude about reissuing them. 5. Jess was the worst. Would not look up from her phone when we walked in and was visibly annoyed when we needed help. Refused toilet paper and Kleenex and towels. It was so bad we dreaded walking in after a long day at the hospital. 6. After literally begging for some towels we were given one bath towel each to last 4 days. 7. There were parties until late into the evening in the room next door and in the hallways. They did nothing about the noise. 8. The parking was never shoveled and the driveway and lobby were hazardous. 9. Complaints to the manager resulted in nothing more than the generic reply you see on here. 10. I have asked for a refund and filed a complaint to Choice with zero success.

    Nightmare

    We unfortunately stayed at this "hotel". The customer service was non existent, pillows were dirty(was told by desk person "oh these are clean", um NO they are not with a drool stain already on them ), mold around our in room hot tub, mold on the air conditioner/heat unit, no smoke detector in room which is probably how it smelled like weed and Newports in the hallways, fossilized dog poop on the landscaping, trash and cigarettes all over by the stairs AND police posted up out front all 3 times we went from the room (out to dinner, the store and when we left). IF you decide to book here you've lost your mind .......THE most ghetto sorry excuse for a hotel I've ever in my life stayed at !!!

    Unsavory Clientele

    The night I arrived there was a belligerent couple arguing with the front desk about early check-in. I was assigned a room with a door to an adjacent room. The couple staying there argued frequently and loudly throughout my stay, and I could hear every scream, profanity and threat of bodily injury or death clearly through the locked door. When I called the front desk to complain twice, they responded both times, but the couple remained for days. The last night I returned there was another couple out front arguing with each other. The room was clean and warm, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The hotel was accommodating of my pet cat. The only discrepancy was a coffeemaker missing its ground prong; a new one was requested which never arrived. There were no apparent security issues, though I was unsettled throughout my stay due to the type of character I encountered so frequently. It seems this location attracts unsettling people with no anger management, life or organization skills whatsoever. Spend a few more dollars and pick somewhere else. If that isn't possible, bring earplugs. And pepper spray.
