  Simply Horrible, even at Yangon standard. Avoid if you can.

  Absolutely horrible. I had been to Myanmar on business trips for more than dozen times now. And I seldom give bad reviews. But, upon arrival, on a non-smoking room, the room is smell of cigarette all over. I requested a change of room and they said they will have to charge me additional USD30 for an "upgrade".The breakfast was cold and they are not willing to refill even there is nothing left on the tray. The hotel is at a terrible location, there is no mini-mart within 1km walking distance. At their current facility, this is not even a 3 star hotel.

  Great if you're on a budget

  If you're on a budget and do not plan to spend much time in the room, it's ok. Rooms are very small and basic. Breakfast buffet is small and limited and Wi-Fi is really slow and bad unless you sit in the lobby. Staff was nice, but not exceptional. Location isn't great, there's not much around but little shops and tiny restaurants,

  It was okay

  I haven't visited any other hotels in Myanmar. But through my personal experiences, hotel yankin was just okay. Their food was delicious(though the menu of breakfast was little bit similar) and they were kind.

  Second time in Hotel Yankin and still satisfied

  I came back to Hotel Yankin for the second time over 3 years. Noticed a bit of wear and tear in some areas but these are totally acceptable for me. I chose this place because it is near to Inya Lake and Yangon Convention Center. The staffs were helpful. The hotel room and breakfast met my expectation with the money that i paid for.

  Good location and friendly service

  Loved the location being that is about half way between the Airport and Yangon central. Stayed here 3 times over our recent trip to Myanmar. We used this hotel as our base as we returned each weekend after touring various locations in Myanmar. The staff happily kept some of our luggage onsite while we were travelling and were always attentive to whatever requests we had, from calling taxis to printing out flight tickets. The breakfast is good and the rooms are spacious and clean. Would absolutely stay here again.
