  Hermoso hotel en un lugar perfecto

  La estadía en Sherlock fue muy buena. Nos alojamos en la habitacion "executive", la más económica del hotel. La habitación es correcta aunque no cuenta con ventilación suficiente ya que la única ventana que tiene da a un patio techado. Si disponen de más dinero les recomiendo elegir una de categoría superior, que dan al hermoso parque que tiene el hotel. El desayuno incluido en la tarifa es excelente y la comida para almorzar o cenar a la carta es de primera. El personal todo, es muy atento, educado, sonriente y dispuesto a hacer de la estadía unas verdaderas vacaciones. Los mozos del restaurant y del desayuno de lo mejor, así como la gerente Lakshmi y su compañero (que no recuerdo el nombre). Nos ayudaron el planear nuestro siguiente destino en Tamil Nadu, así como también en excursiones por la zona y tickets aéreos. Recomiendo mucho este lugar. El único inconveniente, fue una atrevida gotera sobre nuestra cama.... ¡seguramente ya estará solucionado! Ooty es un lugar maravilloso y Sherlock está a la altura.

  Stunning garden view

  Had a very pleasant experience at Sherlock, Ooty. Me and my husband were enjoyed a lot and our labrador dog was also equally enjoyed this vacation .Itz pet friendly resort . The location of this property is splendid and is a must for people looking for peace and tranquility away from the hustle-bustle of city life. Food was really good. Green chilli chicken, schezwan fish ,chicken fried rice, chicken clear soup, chettinad pepper chicken and white brownie are worth a try.. I would specially like to mention here Mr. Ravi front office manager, Sabrish nd staff makes extra effort to make their guests feel at home .Thank you for everything.

  Sherlock was a blessing in disguise for our weary minds...

  To start off,,, SHERLOCK HOMES is a property managed by Little Earth group. It is neatly nestled amidst the Doddabetta hills and hits you with its old charm instantly. We had booked a Mountain view room from 12.02.2021 to 14.02.2021 and believe me the rooms were nicely decked up before we arrived. We had booked a package which included breakfast and diner alongwith Mountain View rooms. We were greeted by the Manager Mr. Ravi shankar, kudos to him for the nice hospitality and warmth during our stay. Every request of us was attended to with utmost care and warmth. Though they were short on staff but still they were upto the task. Sherlock is more of a laid back place were in you can come and immerse yourself in nature and just relax. The hotel offers Garden view rooms as well, difference being, you get a garden view with this rooms, where as Mountain view gives you a great view of mountains right from your balcony. Food is one area which was just too good, considering i had been to ooty before and tried the food outside. Also the hotel has fixed an upper price of 1300/ room ( between this range) you can order your diner and you wont be charged additionally as it is included in your hotel reservation amount. Do try the Chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce, it was just yumm. Food takes a bit of time as they prepare it freshly once you order, which is nice and worth the wait. Atlast will surely like to thank the Hotel Manger Mr. Ravishankar and Mr. Sabrish - House Keeping for making our stay so comfortable. Will surely recommend a stay at Sherlock for family as well as for couples. Imp Tip- If you are visiting on sunday, do make a point and Visit Leo Cafe which is owned by Little Earth group, Every sunday they organise a Farmers Market which is worth the time spent. Also you can enjoy live music and great food.

  Good stay

  Had a nice time at Sherlock. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and are always ready to help. The stay is a little far from the city therefore very peaceful. Food is great.

  Exceptional Heritage hotel Ooty

  Travelled to ootty in December the review was overdue. After reading the reviews online we opted for Sherlock over Kings Cliff hotel, we arrived hoping our decision to stay at the quaint Sherlock was right.It absolutely was the right decision. We arrived in the evening and were greeted by the manager Mr. Ravishankar. Even during evening twilight the hotel is a sight for sore eyes, its old world charm and rustic british architecture gave it a warm and cosy feeling. Even though the property is old its very well kept and maintained. The hotel has a restaurant on sight which is attached to the heritage property. The food takes time to be prepared which is worth the wait. The food is fresh tasty and absolutely delicious. Our favourite place to eat and chat were right at the entrance in front of fireplace. The staff are very friendly and courteous and always offered to light fire every time we arrived. The rooms are nice clean and comfortable. They have everything you need for a good stay. Most of the rooms are on the heritage property itself and few are built separately. The gardens are well kept and add to the charm of the property. They also provide great background for photos. Mr. Ravishankar the manager is very kind, hospitable and always genuinely tries to help. He makes the entire stay comfortable hassle free and joyful. Mr. Sabrish plays mutiple roles as the bellboy, restaurant server and helper. He is highly educated and gives valuable tips and suggestions on sighseeing among other things to enjoy your stay in ooty. Mr Surya - The Chef seems experienced makes tasty food and offers good suggestion on trying new dishes. These three guys according to me are the face of the hotel. They carry the Sherlock brand on their shoulders. All three thrive under pressure and deliver each time.
