  OKAY STAY.

  I checked in on 02nd January and there only issue I had is that my room was not ready even when I had a special request when booking to prepare it before check-in time. As we waiting with other guests they were offered drinks to compensate for the time while nothing was offered to me. That made me feel less important than the other guests. The venue is central and safe I could get to all my destinations without any hassle. Clean rooms and spacious. Anyway I enjoyed my time nothing much.

  Customer friendly hotel in good location.

  The only criticism I have is Some of the Whiter paintwork in our room could have done with a bit of a touch up .This was more than made up for by the nice and clean spacious room ,comfortable bed and a separate bath and shower. What I really liked was how helpful and friendly the staff were,I needed an adaptor for one of my electrical appliances and they managed to find one for me.which I think took some effort.We were made to feel very welcome.One of the owners even introduced himself and chatted to us at breakfast.The food was very good and I enjoyed my swim in the pool .Lovely view of the sea from our room.

  Beautiful stay for our 19th Valentines Celebration!

  We celebrated our 19th Valentines together and it was beautiful! We had a lovely stay. This hotel has got character, very clean and all the basics you need to have a lovely stay. Our room had a fan, no aircon, but think the units upstairs have aircon. The infinity pool is beautiful and what a view wow! Close to the beaches almost on top of the beachfront promenade. Close to beautiful restaurants, but you dont need to go far at all.The view is breath-taking from the rooms and it helps having the Blackbeards Tavern/Restaurant tight there too. We had the pleasure of meeting Harold the owner..what a lovely chat and stories shared, you are a pleasure to have bumped into, hope we meet up again when we come for Sunday lunch Thank you for a lovely stay. Thank you to all the staff too.

  Basic rooms but scenic view

  Back again, the location is great, walking distance to many restaurants, the rooms are very basic, simple and neat with clean showers ! Breakfast is very basic , but good enough to start the day ! Oh, if the sockets don't work just call them up they will reset it for you !

  Great staff - particularly Brenda.

  Our initial feeling on arrival was of disappointment as our rooms were quite tired and some furniture a bit shabby although everywhere was clean and we had a great sea view. However the food was surprisingly good and freshly cooked with a great selection of wines. The person who made our stay was Brenda for whom nothing was too much trouble. Organising hair driers and irons when needed as well as driving us to the cricket when our taxi didn't arrive. Many thanks. (In reality this a longstanding family owned business which has, to a degree, been overtaken by its more modern neighbours. The family deserve to do well as they care so much - unlike many of the soulless corporates nearby)
