  Llegamos tarde debido a la nevada y nos encontramos que el apartamento estaba en una 5a planta y el ascensor lo tenian estropeado.. tubimos que subir todo el equipo, maletas y compra para 6 a manos forzadas por la escalera serpenteante y estrecha. Al llegar tenian sabanas , toallas y mantas para 4 y no para 6. 2 de nuestros compañeros tubieron que dormir agotados encima del sofa solo con el cubremantas de la cama doble. Los forfeits no los tenian en recepción y tubimos que ir a buscarlos con las indicaciones erroneas de recepción. El día que nos iban se volvió a estropear el ascensor y ooootra vez a bajarlo todo. Vino el tecnico del ascensor que nos trató muy mal (hasta empujó a un amigo) cerró el ascensor sin poder arreglarlo y dijo que mañana más... pero claro nosotros tubimos que bajarlo todo. La piscina y sauna estan en otro edificio el cual conecta por el pkng a nivel de calle, con la temperaturade -12 bajo cero en la que estabamos. La piscina helada y la sauna no funcionaba bien. Al reclamar por todo esto no se responsabilizaban de nada y ni siquiera tenian hojas de reclamación. El encargado o dueño nos vaciló y se rió de nosotros al pedirle que por ley deben tener hojas de reclamaciones y pedirle si nos podía escribir en una hoja que efectivamente no tenian hojas de reclamación. No volveremos nunca más.

  Leo terrible with skiworld

  we had a room for two which had less than 200mm around the bed hardly big enough to stand up in the room, the door to out side would not close properly letting in the -16 cold air the radiator was either full on of off, which was 100mm from the bed you either freeze or boil to death. the rad in the bathroom was stuck on full so you would sweat just going to the toilet, it was like an oven. the shower head was missing and would go cold and scalding and not fixed for 4 days. the front door on arrival looked like it had been kicked in and did not lock or close properly so your belongings where not safe, this was not fixed in the 7 days we where there and ski world did nothing about it. the dish washer was broken, there where not enough cutlery for the 7 people staying here and the door handle to the sauna was hanging off again for the week. the room was so small you had to put your suit case and belongings in the hall outside, and you could not get dressed in the room unless you stood on the bed. I would never go here ever again and would never use ski world ever again, the picture of the room they sell it with is impossible, as the beds they use in the floor plan must be half size kids beds as you cant even get in the door. truly awful dont go, find somewhere else cheaper and much nicer.

  We rented an appartment with 11 friends and it was great! The appartments are spacious and cozy. There are 4 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms so enough place for everyone. The bread service in the morning is the best, they just leave it outside of tour appartment door at 7am fresh and even a bit warm! The slopes are a 3-4 minute walk which will take you to the skilifts. Skiing back towards the appartment is convenient as well if you take the slope via La Folie Douce otherwise you will need to walk back up the slopes which is pretty tiring but not all that far and the exercise is good All and all a perfect base for Val Thorens

  Very good place to stay.

  Situated at the top of the resort, Chalet 2400 provides well appointed chalets. The accommodation is clean and up to date and the staff very courteous and welcoming. The steam room and sauna are both a good size and easy to get to on the first floor (closed Saturdays). There is a supermarket right across the road and ski hire right next door. To join the piste you have a 150-200m walk downhill along the road; on your return you can ski right up to a walkway (a short steep red) that joins onto the accommodation. This short run can become quite challenging towards the end of the day when churned up or if icy. You also have the Red Fox pub within the chalet on the ground floor. All in all very good accommodation and thoroughly recommended.

  Great location for ski in ski out

  Have stayed here a few times. This time 6 bed apartment. Loads of space although bunkbed room a little dark. Pub on corner of building you can ski to and 2 mins walk in the morning to slope to get to main lift area in the morning. Nice pool and sauna.
