  Peaceful Country Recharge

  First, I have to say that I am writing this review a full year and a half after visiting the place (I am a terrible procrastinator!), so I guess I have a fairly high opinion of it to come back and fill-in the blanks. The actual date of our visit was late May of 2013. We spent 1 night. The resort is a bit off the beaten path so a car is a necessity. Situated up in the hills, the views of the surrounding countryside right from your front window are wide and far. The room we had was a kitchenette and the proprietor graciously contributed a few essentials like coffee, milk and sugar as well as a few vegetables from their garden. We supplied the rest including wine. There is a pool (not heated), but you will have to hike up a small hill in the back of the complex and, at the time, there was no poolside furniture of any sort and no shelter from the wind. There are plans to provide these amenities in the future, I guess. For my wife and I, the most positive aspect was how quiet it was. We had no electronic distractions (no internet, no TV). We just lit a fire then sat and looked out over the valley while enjoying our wine.

  very nice stay

  Fantastic agriturismo. Basic but very clean, fabulously situated on top of a hill with a great view. the swimming pool away from the apartments even a bit higher on the hill is the best ever. Good location to bring dogs.
