  Una habitación ruidosa junto a la carretera

  El hotel tiene buena pinta, lo malo es que me dieron una habitación junto a la carretera. Con lo que se oye todo el tráfico (no es que haya mucho, pero hay) pues la ventana que tienen es de 1 solo vidrio. Además tampoco tienen persianas, con lo que entra mucha luz. Además tuve mala suerte, el cocinero estaba de vacaciones. Con lo que cené mal: no había para elegir y las cantidades eran justas.

  Hotel Marmite - Love it or Hate It

  Stopped over here on our way south. We didn't do our research, relying solely on the Logis rating. The rooms are themed and won't be to everyone's taste, our's - Lolypop (yes that is how it was spelled) - feature many pictures and cushions of dogs in fancy dress and a room of primary colours. We had a fancy coffee machine but no capsules and the room was on the small side. Otherwise it was modern and clean so nothing to complain about. There are also 2 jacuzzis to use, one for a couple and the other a less private affair for 6 people. Food was good, if on the expensive side, we went for the all inclusive menu which at 46 euros wasn't cheap but did include aperitif and wine so actually worked out better value that others. The staff were all very friendly and helpful but you have to like dogs with Robby the french bulldog on patrol, he was no problem and very friendly as like as you like dogs. Breakfast was the standard buffet offering. Definitely something of a unique experience - love it or hate it!

  Quaint hotel, friendly staff

  We stayed here two nights and had a lovely stay. We visit Gers often to visit friends and Samatan is a lovely town to stay in. The welcome by Nicolas was warm and friendly and all other staff that we encountered were equally as friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. Our only negative was the open bathroom which (probably due to our English sensibilities) was odd. The shower however was very nice with lots of hot water. We did not spend much time at the hotel but we enjoyed the little time we had there as we slept well and enjoyed breakfast.

  Great place to stay and fantastic restaurant

  If you have time to stop in your journey and enjoy having good food this is a very nice place to do so. The place is nice, the rooms cozy and the restaurant great with very attentive personnel. The Manage is very professional and has a lot of experience.

  Lovely

  We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting friends in the area. Weve stayed here before a couple of years ago but the ownership has now changed. It is still as warm and welcoming as it ever was! The room we had this time was so comfortable that we slept really well. It would be a little small for a long stay but I know there are other larger rooms here. The welcome at the hotel was great and there was no problem about checking in early. We had breakfast which was fine, but just the normal French fare. It set us up for the day. We also had a very nice meal in the restaurant one evening. Its pricey though. Both the food and wine were good. Well stay here again in the near future.
