  Nice stay but room not good. Glad it was only one night.

  We had not stayed at this Inn before. We would do so again but we would make sure we had another room. We can only think the room we had was the last room that was vacant. Room 7. Do not have this room. Very small and cramped. As you go in, the door just misses the bed. There isn't a proper bathroom as the shower is down the side of the toilet which is very small and the wash basin in a corner of the bed- room. The view was of some greenery where you could just make out a stream but was also of what looked like some rusty corrugated sheds? The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is the first place we have stayed in where the breakfast cereals etc are not there to help yourself so you have to wait for that. Perhaps in the past they have found that people abused what was on offer. We didn't get our cereal, just about to ask where it was and our cooked breakfast arrived. Wouldn't have happened if it was out and available. Nice place with lovely views of Llangollen valley just make sure your room is at the front. I have put overall rating as very good because the Inn itself is lovely with a great view.

  Fantastic

  Myself and mother stayed here for two nights and found both rooms 4 and 5 absolutely perfect. We were surprised to find they have even changed our towels and cleaned the rooms even though we were only staying two nights and made sure we had plenty of milk and tea bags in the room. The breakfast was plentiful and overall the staff were friendly and professional. Thanks for a great stay and will certainly recommend to friends and family.

  Quirky pub - Great food

  Rooms are small and dated . Location is out of town so you need a taxi Breakfast beautiful and had lunch which was also very nice with generous portions. Very quiet not used by locals so if there is nobody in the bar it closes early. No internet connection available which was disappointing

  Lovely meal enjoyed by all

  The food was very tasty and there was plenty of it will return. The chicken curry and rice with poppadom ham egg and chips and sausage and mash were all enjoyed. The setting is lovely only a short distance from the horse shoe pass and a couple of miles from Llangollen. The staff were friendly and efficient.

  Nice stay here

  We came here in October for a one night stay. It was a lovely place to stay, our room was nice and the food was really good. Ann and her staff were very nice people, happy and friendly. So nice we have booked to return early next year!
