  Very Bad hotel, Dont waste you money in this hotel.

  Dont book in this hotel. Very bad reception people and security people. We were sleeping in the room and at 1:30am midnight somebody open the door even door was locked and key was with me. I suddenly woke up and scared. Somebody suddenly close the door and run away. They must used master key to open door and try to still our stuff. Also in the morning at 10 am next day reception guy tried to open door with master key he thought nobody inside but I was in and I asked him so he said I am just checking the Key is working or not. Even service attendant has finished cleaning still reception guy open door. Now because of many bad review they have changed name for same hotel. new name is Cockpit airport reach hotel. We booked from Agoda.com website. When we reached hotel even we have not taken out our luggage and security guy came and keep saying we have Spa,message and s#x inside hotel. Even not welcomed. Then nobody helped for luggage. We asked reception guy for help so he asked for money. Never go there Very danger they can make worst night. whole night I was not sleeping and was very scary.

  Better sleep on the road.

  Not a place for families or couples. When we reached the place the big man behind the counter received us with body language saying that we are not welcome. At midnight disco started and the noise was so loud that we could not sleep until 4am. The drain in the shower did not worked so we had a lovely swimming pool we had to get in when we went to the bathroom. Price for breakfast was so high that it was better to have breakfast somewhere else. Nobody helped us with the luggage when we left. Never again

  Dont do it!!

  They didn't have our booking. Not sure if this was there fault of Flight Centre Carindale Australia's!! So we paid again as it was 11.30pm at night. The room was clean. The door to the small balcony didn't have any locks - it was just a double glass door that you pushed open. The bar downstairs thumped music all night and into the early hours. We went down for breakfast and they were not planning on opening the restaurant - we may have been the only guests. When we asked for breakfast we were shown into the restaurant - no lights on or windows open. We were served an omelette (no choice) and juice and thought we were very strange to ask for tea - we were in Sri Lanka.... Staff were nice (except for the guy on duty when we arrived). Entry to the hotel looks nice. It was cheap, thank goodness. We stayed here due to late arrival and travelled to Galle the next day. On our return to Negombo to fly out we had to stay overnight again - guess where we didn't stay..

  Newly opened nightclub

  If you are looking for nightlife in and around Colombo then this place is good to go. Not crowded and is open from 7pm to 5 am. Though not upbeat but is worth spending your night here. The service is good and one can find a companion quite easily. Frequented by many first time visitors.

  Clean but noisy at night

  The thing to know about this hotel is that there is an all night disco with loud music downstairs in the bar. Stops at 6am. Otherwise it's OK. The food is nice and the staff are helpful. The building is grand and solid. Room is large, bed comfortable. It's just the thudding noise all night that would stop me staying here again.
